Rocketbook Flip Has a Top-Bound Spiral Design, Mimicking A Traditional Steno Pad

The latest version of the Rocketbook digital reusable notebook is called the Flip, and it is designed to look like a traditional steno pad with a top-bound spiral design versus the usual side bound spiral.

The Flip comes with 10 front-and-back pages with lines on the front and a dot grid on the back to accommodate different types of work, whether you’re jotting down notes or working out math problems or drawing graphs. There’s an alternate version of the notebook as well with blank pages for more creative work. Lefties (like me!) will also appreciate the design that moves the spiral from the left side but also offers top-turn binding for additional wrist space on the left side.

The Flip provides a classic pen and paper experience, but its eco-friendly design means no more wasted paper. Featuring Rocketbook’s patented reusable technology, the Flip’s synthetic paper allows you to write smoothly with a Pilot FriXion pen, marker, or highlighter and then wipe the page clean with a damp cloth, enabling you to use the notebook again and again.

Flip also connects a variety of cloud services including Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, Box, iCloud, Slack, e-mail, and more for easy organization, uploading, and sharing capabilities. Use the free Rocketbook app to scan your notes, transcribe your handwriting, and send to your favourite service. Then, erase and use it again.

Seven symbols at the bottom of each page act as the magic “buttons” behind Rocketbook’s quick and easy cloud organization. First, assign each icon to the cloud destination of your choice. Then, when you mark that icon on your page, the Rocketbook app automatically beams your notes to the desired online location. The Rocketbook app also crops and enhances each page so your digital notes are even more crisp and vibrant than the real thing.

The Rocketbook Flip is available for US$32 in executive size and US$34 in letter size, and each will come with a Pilot FriXion pen and a microfiber cloth.
