Onkyo is exhibiting at CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver this week, and one new product the brand is showing off is the Onkyo TX-RZ30 9.2 Channel AV receiver, which features Dirac Live, Dolby Atmos, THX certification, and IMAX Enhanced.

As the latest expansion in the premium RZ Series line, the Onkyo TX-RZ30 is a 9.2-channel, 100 watt-per-channel SMART AV receiver that delivers immersive sound for movies and TV, music, and gaming experiences at home.

Like others in the line, it features Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, Dirac Live Room Correction, Dolby Atmos 3D Sound, THX Certification, IMAX Enhanced, Klipsch Optimize Mode, and more.

It offers Class A/B amplification, HDMI 2.1a, 8K/4K Ultra HD resolution, and 40Gbps transfer speeds, with fast refresh to keep up with the newest gaming consoles.

Thanks to custom low-noise power transformers and smoothing capacitors, the TX-RZ30 hits 5Hz lows and 100 kHz highs. Dirac Live Room Correction Full Bandwidth refines the best sound for your individual room layout. Optional user upgrades are available for Dirac Live Bass Control, which uses machine learning and AI to quickly determine ideal settings for any room layout.

The Onkyo TX-RZ30 can seamlessly play back content from all the popular streaming apps through all 9.2 channels. It also includes advanced music streaming and connectivity, and works with smart home assistants like Hey Google and Siri.

Additionally, Roon Tested, Google Cast built-in, AirPlay2, Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora, and Tunein are all supported. Leverage the Bluetooth transmitter with aptX HD for sharing audio to Bluetooth headphones. This Onkyo AVR can send and receive audio via Bluetooth wireless technology. Stream from your device to the receiver using SBC or AAC codecs, or transmit audio playing through the AVR to compatible wireless headphones using SBC, aptX, or aptX HD codecs including 24-bit audio over aptX HD. The improved data transfer capabilities of the latest generation of Bluetooth ensure clear and reliable sound.

With a Dirac Live Room Correction Full Bandwidth license included with the purchased, and an optional Dirac Live Bass Control upgrade available for Single/Multi, you can enjoy calibrated audio from the get-go. Dirac Live Room Correction can calibrate the full frequency range (20 Hz to 20 kHz) of music and movie sound. The optional Dirac Live Bass Control ensures that the two independent subwoofer outputs are calibrated with all other speakers to provide bass refinement and fine details, while enhancing mid and high frequencies, says Onkyo.

Dolby Atmos created a 3D sound environment via object-based audio that allows sounds to move freely in space, including overhead, for an immersive experience. Dolby Vision enhances every frame by dynamically adjusting brightness, contrast, and colour levels on a scene-by-scene basis.

Using its stringent testing methodology, THX engineers have evaluated and certified the audio fidelity of Onkyo’s TX-RZ30 ensuring it delivers the optimal entertainment experience.
