Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the new ROG Cetra open wireless earbuds, which employ an open-ear design to provide situational awareness and a comfortable fit for those who don’t like in-ears or prefer the open design.
Geared towards gamers, music lovers, commuters, and active individuals, they have large 14.2mm diamond-like carbon (DLC) coated drivers. Dual-Mode connectivity enables seamless switching between Bluetooth and ultra-low-latency 2.4GHz ROG SpeedNova wireless technology for synced in-game audio. An included USB-C 2.4GHz dongle supports passthrough charging, allowing you to power your device while staying connected.

ROG SpeedNova 2.4GHz wireless technology delivers ultra-low latency and precise audio-visual sync. The included USB-C 2.4GHz dongle, ROG’s first with one-way passthrough charging, enables uninterrupted gameplay or streaming by allowing you to charge the device while the earbuds remain connected.
Built-in sound modes allow you to customize the experience. Phantom Bass enhances perceived low-end response for a more powerful listening experience, says Asus ROG, while Immersion Mode reduces ambient noise.

The Cetra Open Wireless comes with ergonomic liquid silicone ear hooks, and a detachable reflective neck strap that adds stability for workouts and outdoor activities. Physical control buttons deliver precise, tactile feedback and unlike touch controls, help prevent accidental inputs while maintaining consistent performance.
With IPX5 splash resistance, the Cetra Open Wireless can withstand sweat and light rain. On a full charge, they deliver up to 16 hours of use in Bluetooth mode (with RGB lighting and sound modes off and the microphone muted). A quick 15-minute charge provides up to 3 hours of listening time.
The ROG Cetra Open Wireless are now available now for US$230.
