Microsoft has launched Surface Pro and Surface Laptop, both with Snapdragon X2 processors.
The Surface Pro 13-inch 2-in-1 PC comes in Platinum, Black, and Dune, and functions as both a full Windows PC and tablet. Starting at an MSRP of $1,499, the Snapdragon X2 processor delivers up to 53% faster graphic performance than the previous generation, up to 15.5 hours of battery life, and a 1440p Quad HD camera with ultrawide field of view.
With an optional OLED display, Microsoft says it delivers deeper blacks, higher contrast, and greater colour accuracy. You can pair it with the optional Surface Pro Flex Keyboard, now available in Dune.
The 13.8-inch and 15-inch Surface start at $1,599 and offer up to 58% more graphics performance than the previous generation. You get up to 20 hours of battery life on the 13.8-inch and up to 19 hours on the 15-inch.
Both models feature bright, colour-accurate LCDs while the new Surface Laptop 15-inch display gets sharper, jumping from 201 PPI to 262 PPI for greater detail and clarity. In addition to Platinum, Black, and Dune, the 13.8-inch Surface Laptop comes in a new colour, Jade.
With dedicated NPU silicon, optimized Windows integration, and full cloud connectivity, every new Surface device is designed to run AI workloads wherever they make the most sense, both on-device and in the cloud. You can also create hybrid workflows that move seamlessly between both.
Across the touchpad on the new Surface Laptop and Slim Pen with Surface Pro, you can feel subtle haptic feedback across Windows and the apps you use every day. Surface Pro and Surface Laptop ship with Affinity pinned to the Start menu, ready the moment you sign in with professional-grade design, photo and publishing tools, tuned to take full advantage of Surface hardware for a smooth and responsive experience.
Surface Laptop 13.8-inch and 15-inch and Surface Pro 13-inch are made with a durable 100% recycled aluminum enclosure. Each device is certified by ENERGY STAR as well. The new Surface Repair Tool gives you guided repair workflows designed by Microsoft. From one screen, you can see your device’s model and key device information, run tests on supported components (including the battery, display, or camera), and walk through guided repairs for eligible parts like the battery, display, touchpad or motherboard.
