Marshall Unveils Acton IV, Stanmore IV Speakers

Marshall has released the next generation of Acton IV and Stanmore IV speakers, both of which add more powerful, room-filling sound, integrated Auracast technology, and a refreshed design, this speaker pair delivers enhanced performance and style.

Each speaker has upgraded tweeters and waveguides to deliver a wider, more evenly dispersed, and expansive soundstage, says Marshall. A redesigned bass port improves airflow for cleaner, more powerful bass, Marshall adds, while bottom-placed cables allow placement flush against the wall without affecting audio quality.

Dynamic Loudness ensures music sounds good at any volume with balanced detail. At low levels, sound retains clarity, richness, and warmth. When turned up, improved limiters help deliver a cleaner sound across both speakers.

Maintaining an analogue feel, they both feature signature PU leather wrapping with the signature salt and pepper fret and amp-inspired controls. The classic brass control panel has been updated to include an improved media jog and signature power switch. Easily adjust volume, bass, and treble, and manage music playback when playing via Bluetooth. There’s also a new customizable M-button that offers instant access to music like Spotify Tap or personalized settings. With RCA and AUX inputs, you can connect a record player. Use the Marshall app to customize sound, adjust EQ presets, and optimize audio with placement compensation.

The MDF cabinet used in Acton IV and Stanmore IV is made from FSC 100%-certified wood, and both speakers can be repaired with replaceable parts, including the knobs, feet, and the grille.

With built-in Auracast technology, you can enjoy music playing in sync across multiple Acton IV and Stanmore IV speakers. Acton III and Stanmore III can also join the experience via Marshall’s US$300 Heddon streaming hub. Set up Heddon easily using the Marshall app, pressing and holding the M-button, and it’s ready to go any time you want to connect.

The Marshall Acton IV is available in Canada for $430 and the Stanmore IV for $530 and come in Black or Cream. Marshall products are distributed in Canada through Erikson Consumer.
