Acer has launched its new Aspire 3 laptops, which feature the new AMD Ryzen 7020 processors and AMD Radeon graphics, offer 11-hour battery life, and a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen for crisp images at different angles, along with a touchscreen in some models.
Equipped with Windows 11, the Aspire 3 series laptops are dubbed as “budget-friendly.” They are powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor, and feature 8GB LPDDR5 memory and 512GB PCIe storage.
With a sleek silver cover, the Aspire 3 is thinner and lighter than the prior generation at just 0.74 inches and 3.92 lbs. The 15.6-inch Full HD 1080p display features narrow bezels and the IPS panel supports sharp visuals at wide viewing angles to showcase more content with less scrolling. Plus, select models have an intuitive touchscreen. Integrated BlueLightShield filters blue light to help prevent eye fatigue.
Outfitted with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax), the Aspire 3 series delivers fast and reliable network connectivity. HDMI 2.1, and a full-function USB Type-C supporting DisplayPort over USB works with a wide range of monitors, while USB Type-C operating at up to 10 Gbps provides fast data transfer and power delivery for charging devices.
Acer Purified.Voice with AI Noise Reduction helps ensure voice clarity by suppressing common background noises during videoconferences. With Temporal Noise Reduction, the webcam produces high-quality images even in dim lighting conditions. In addition, its Blue Glass lens helps reduce red dot flare. Improved system thermals include a 78% increase in fan surface area to optimize stability.
The Acer Aspire 3 (A315-24P) laptops are available at leading retailers in both Canada and the U.S. starting at US$400.
