Acer has launched two new gaming monitors, the Predator XB323QK V4 and Acer Nitro XV240 F6. Designed to offer enhancements to gaming visuals and performance, the new monitors focus on refresh rates, visuals, and advanced features for competitive players and enthusiasts.
The Predator XB323QK V4 offers 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution with a fast 160 Hz refresh rate for smooth gameplay with ultra-responsive performance. It supports a dynamic refresh rate (DRR) of 120 Hz and dynamic frequency and resolution for FHD at 320 Hz, offering flexible refresh options for a wide range of gaming scenarios. The response time of up to 0.5 milliseconds (G to G, Min.) further reduces motion blur.
Equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium technology to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering, the Predator XB323QK V4’s in-plane switching panel offers wide viewing angles and consistent colour accuracy. It also supports HDR10, providing enhanced brightness, contrast, and a broader colour range. The display also features a wide DCI-P5 95% colour gamut.
The Predator XB323QK V4 includes Acer’s VisionCare technology, which incorporates flicker-free and blue light reduction features to minimize eye strain during prolonged gaming sessions. The monitor also comes with the ErgoStand, which allows for full ergonomic adjustments, ensuring that gamers can maintain a comfortable and customizable viewing position for long hours of play. Additionally, the Acer Display Widget software provides a simple and intuitive interface for quick adjustments and personalized settings.
With adjustable tilt, swivel, pivot, and height, gamers can find the perfect viewing angle for any environment. It can also be wall-mounted to save desk space. The integrated two-watt speakers amplify quality audio, and the Acer display widget provides intuitive control and calibration.
The Acer Nitro XV240 F6 is the latest addition to Acer’s gaming portfolio of “UltraSpeed” displays, offering an ultra-responsive monitor with a standout 600 Hz refresh rate. Engineered to match speed requirements in esports, the monitor provides a fluid gaming experience. The high 600 Hz refresh rate combined with DRR provides excellent motion clarity, says Acer, minimizing motion blur. With response times of up to 0.1 milliseconds (G to G, min.), the Acer Nitro XV240 F6 also includes AMD FreeSync Premium technology.
Boasting DCI-P3 90% colour gamut support, the Delta E<2 monitor is a great choice for both gaming and creative work. For enhanced contrast and HDR visuals, the Acer Nitro XV240 F6 includes VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.
In addition to its performance and visual capabilities, the new Nitro monitor comes with Acer’s VisionCare technology and an ErgoStand for full adjustability.
The Predator XB323QK V4 will be available in EMEA in Q3, starting at EUR 699, and in China in Q2, starting at RMB 3,999. The Acer Nitro XV240 F6 will be available in North America in May, starting at US$700; in EMEA in Q3, starting at EUR 799, and in China in Q2, starting at RMB 4,999.
