TCL has unveiled its new range of displays at CES 2026, including X11L Series SQD Mini LED TV that delivers rich, accurate colour, deep black levels, and ultra-thin designs.
The new flagship TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED Series combines new SQD-Mini LED display technology, premium audio technology, and elegant design. At the heart is TCL’s new Deep Color System with Super Quantum Dots, the CSOT UltraColor Filter, and the advanced Color Purity Algorithm, achieving 100% of BT2020 color. It also features an enhanced Halo Control System with discrete dimming zones and peak brightness, delivering deeper blacks, brilliant highlights, fine shadow detail, and virtually no blooming.
SQD-Mini LED offers more consistently accurate 100% of BT2020 colour along with more discrete dimming. The advanced CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel consists of a wide colour viewing angle along with high static contrast (up to 7,000:1), ZeroBorder, an Anti-Reflective Layer that helps increase contrast, and the new TCL Deep Color System, This three-part system consists of Super Quantum Dots, the CSOT UltraColor filter, and the advanced colour purity algorithm.

SQD Mini-LED achieves 100% of BT2020 colour, minimizing colour artifacts such as “colour crosstalk,” otherwise known as “colour blooming” which can happen with RGB-Mini LED TV technology, says TCL. It incorporates up to 20,000 discrete dimming zones – more than three times the premium TCL QM9K – for better black levels. In addition, X11L includes up to 10,000 peak nits brightness, the maximum brightness for HDR rendering, for comfortable viewing in any lighting condition.
The X11L boasts a new 26-bit backlight controller that’s significantly improved for 2026. This is alongside the enhanced Halo Control System with a further minimized Micro OD, shadowless uniform light supports, and new shadow detail optimization, resulting in a new level of Precise Dimming that produces deeper black levels for an accurate and lifelike picture. TCL has also upgraded to the new TSR AI processor that ensures accuracy by leveraging enhanced AI colour, AI contrast, AI clarity, AI motion, AI upscaling, and AI sound.
Further, X11L offers Gemini for Google TV that makes TV control conversational and more natural. You can ask Gemini to help you discover shows, find videos, and simplify everyday routines. Audio is provided by Bang & Olufsen, affording enhanced treble, midrange, mid-bass, dialog and soundstage. TCL also offers an expandable home theatre audio system with the option to add a wireless subwoofer you can use alongside the TV itself. If you decide you want enhanced audio, you can add a pair of TCL Dolby FlexConnect speakers as rear surrounds, even two more as wide or surrounds.
The X11L has an ultra thin cabinet that is only 0.8” deep with a completely flat back so it hangs on the wall like art. Leverage Art Mode and Art Gallery as well, to display artwork when you aren’t watching TV.“
The largest X11L models are available for pre-order now for US$7,000 for the 75-inch model, US$8,000 for the 85-inch, and US$10,000 for the 98-inch.
