Dali has introduced its new Kupid compact, high-performance loudspeaker, which delivers hifi sound in a small package with a premium finish.

We’ve poured everything we know about speaker design into a form factor that’s easy to live with and easy to love. Kupid is designed to fit in, stand out, and make the most of your music.”
Kupid is designed and engineered in-house in Denmark, following the same sonic philosophies behind Dali’s high-end flagship products like the Kore and Epikore. Designed for modern living spaces and first-time hifi buyers, it’s small footprint means the speaker can fit almost anywhere, even an inch from a wall, blending into the room. It comes with textured magnetic grilles and five finishes: Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue, each featuring colour-matched bass/midrange cones and grilles.
Inside, it boasts a proprietary 4-inch paper and wood fibre bass/midrange driver, ferrite magnet system, and low-loss rubber surround for tight bass and a dynamic midrange. A custom-developed 26mm ultra-light soft dome tweeter delivers detailed, extended highs with smooth dispersion and minimal distortion, says Dali. The tweeter baffle design is carefully tuned for seamless integration with the midrange driver, ensuring a natural and cohesive soundstage.
These components are guided by custom crossovers designed for timing accuracy, soft roll-off, and clarity. Kupid’s ‘dual flare’ bass reflex port is precisely time-aligned to optimise airflow and minimixe unwanted resonances, resulting in low distortion and impressively deep bass for a speaker of this size, Dali adds. To fit all listening scenarios, like all Dali loudspeakers, Kupid works well at low and high volumes.
Kupid is amplifier-optimized, presenting a consistent impedance of over 4 ohms to ensure smooth performance across a wide range of amplifiers, including budget-friendly hifi amplifiers and all-in-one amplifier and streamer systems. Wall brackets are also included in the package alongside rubber feet.
