VerVent Audio, parent to Focal and Naim, has been officially acquired by Barco following the announcement of the acquisition earlier this year, Barco is a global specialist in high end projection, visualization, and immersive experience solutions. As such, Focal and Naim have officially joined the Barco Group’s portfolio.
The alliance, says the companies, will build on the share ambition to “build a European leader in audiovisual solutions capable of bringing image and sound closer together to create new, immersive experiences tailored to professional and residential environments alike.”
By joining Barco, VerVent Audio strengthens its strategy with strong global brands, technological expertise, and a clear and sustainable market vision. Together, the teams aim to offer some competitive audiovisual solutions.

VerVent Audio was established in 2014 following the partnership initiated in 2011 between Focal and Naim. Focal specializes in hi-fi loudspeakers and speaker drivers. Its r French craftsmanship extends to headphones, integrated systems, professional studios, automotive applications, and yachts. In the UK, Naim excels in high-end electronics, from complete streaming players and systems to amplifiers and audio integration solutions. Since 2019, VerVent has been promoting a new vision of the in-store hifi experience through a network of more than 80 Focal Powered by Naim boutiques.
