Every Friday, I’ll be highlighting a few new (or relatively new) tech products you should buy. Google Pixel Watch 5
The just launched Google Pixel Watch 5 has new themed screen options, and you can even describe a theme to Gemini and see a custom face appear (think “sun on the beach” or “furry kittens”). It’s ultra-bright up to 3,000 nits and reportedly boasts 20% faster processing power and more accurate GPS routing than the Pixel Watch 4 (stay tuned for my review). The 45mm model lasts for up to 40 hours per charge and 72 hours in Battery Saver mode and the 41mm up to 30 and 48 hours, respectively. Sign up for Google Health Premium, and you’re on your way to better fitness, health, and wellness. And with notifications for everything from calendar items to appointments, and on-the-fly help with Gemini, it’s a great smartwatch to consider for an Android phone.

HP Smart Tank 7603 Wireless All-in-One Printer
Perfect for work-from-homers and students, this all-in-one printer comes with three years’ worth of refillable ink, so it’s completely cartridge-free. Able to print, scan, and copy, With HP AI, you can print things like web pages and e-mails and remove annoying extraneous information that makes the formatting all messed up or ends up printing across multiple pages when it can all fit on one. It has a 250-sheet input tray, auto document feeder, auto two-sided printing. The device supports wireless printing and can print up to 15 pages-per-minute in black and nine pages per minute in colour. Stay tuned for my review.

Kanto Obi3G3 Turntable
This new turntable is a perfect starter option for teens or those looking to get back into vinyl. The auto stop belt drive turntable has a built-in speed sensor, a pitch control knob, RCA with a built-in selectable phono preamp. With Bluetooth as well, they can stream tunes to wireless speakers or headphones. Available in a variety of finishes, including a stunning Walnut and lovely green, it’s a great job for reinvigorated or new vinyl enthusiasts.

PSB iQ2 Wireless Powered Speakers
These wireless powered streaming speakers come with the BluOS platform built-in for seamless whole-home streaming. Offering 270W power, the shelf-mounted speakers include Bluetooth, Ethernet, HDMI, optical, and Wi-Fi connectivity options. As a stereo system, they come with a high-res DAC and can be controlled using the BluOS Controller app. A great option for those looking for elevated sound, they come in cool colours like Ember Red and Granite Grey.

Zlinke 3-Tier Dumbbell Rack
OK, so this technically isn’t a tech product, but it goes hand-in-hand with those on a fitness journey who are using tech devices like smartwatches, fitness trackers, and heart rate monitors and building their own home gym. I fall into this camp and recently bought this dumbbell rack myself to upgrade from the smaller triangle rack I had before. And I absolutely love it. I was able to put it together easily and it comfortably fits all my weights. This includes pairs of 40, 30, 20, 17.5, 15, 12, 10, 8, 5, and 3 dumbbells as well as 30- and 45-lb. kettle bells. The total weight capacity is 1,100 lbs., so you can use this if you have an even heavier set of weights, too.
The weights sit on an angle making them easy to grab and put back. Made of powder-coated, heavy-duty steel, I love that you can adjust the height of each rack as well as the width of the two shelving pieces on each one to fit different types of gear. With rubber pads on the feet, it won’t scratch floors. And while it’s large, it fits nicely against the wall and out of the way.
