Fujifilm is adding new models to its growing instax line, with the instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera and the mini Link+ smartphone printer.
The instax mini Evo Cinema offers multiple ways for you to make personalized content through still photos, short-form video (15-second clips), and instax mini photo prints via the free, downloadable instax mini Evo smartphone app. The three-in-one camera has a Gen Dial for applying photo effects from 10 different eras to an image, like grainy, pale tones of the 1930s, vibrant colours of the 1980s, and rich imagery of the 2020s. There’s also a Degree Control Dial you can rotate to precisely adjust colour, contrast, and noise expression, creating up to 10 creative variations per era. Once an era is chosen and the intensity of the era is selected via the Degree Control Dial, continue to personalize by adding a frame to every shot or video clip using the Frame Switch. There’s a frame for every era, each paying homage to the characteristics, media, and playback devices that defined that time.

You can easily switch between Cine and Still mode to capture video or photos, respectively. In Cine mode, you can shoot a series of clips up to 15 seconds in total and the camera will stitch them into one smooth video automatically. Via the free, downloadable instax mini Evo smartphone app, you can connect via Bluetooth and extend video creations to 30 seconds by adding or reordering clips.
Mini Evo Cinema features built-in digital zoom. The tactile Zoom Lever lets you dial up the intimacy of the shot or pull back for greater scope and more atmosphere. In the app, the My Gallery section provides a secure place to store images and videos, segmented into categories including Favourites, Printed, Video, Photo, Projects. Through this function, you can also save printed images digitally to your smartphone’s camera roll, including the instax mini border.

With instax mini instant film, access videos with an instax mini instant photo that has a QR code you can scan to play back the video on a smartphone. Video and audio data is securely stored for 24 months.
With sleek black, glimpses of green, and analog-inspired details, this hybrid instant camera offers remote shooting capability (via the app on your phone) and has an integrated selfie mirror and self-timer. It comes equipped with a 1.54-inch high-resolution LCD and analog-style printing operation lever you can lift and twist to print a photo.

The Fujifilm instax mini Evo Cinema hybrid instant camera will be available in early February 2026 for an MSRP of $480 in Canada.
Complementing the camera is the Fujifilm instax mini Link+ smartphone printer, which integrates more instant photo technology into its free, downloadable instax mini Link smartphone app. This includes new and enhanced print modes designed to capture both the aesthetic of the creator and the moment.

In Simple Print Mode, you can print photos directly from the smartphone’s camera roll, or even Pinterest pins. Design Print Mode captures every detail in a photo, from text to illustrations or other graphics. Simulation Mode provides a preview of what photos will look like before they print, while Multiple Print Mode lets you print up to 10 images you have previewed and selected in Simulation Mode in a single step. There’s also the Frame Print Feature that allows you to customize images by applying a frame, adding a sticker, or even adding a text caption. Within the instax mini Link smartphone app, the Video Print feature isolates the perfect frame within a video to output that frame as a printed image.
The mini Link+ smartphone printer is housed in a slim, portable form factor that’s finished in black with an orange colour accent. Additional features include remote shooting capability, a collage Print function, light/dark user interface modes, and the instaxAiR Studio feature for adding 3D Augmented Reality effects before taking photos in the app.

The Fujifilm instax mini Link+ smartphone printer and the updated instax mini Link smartphone app will be available in early February 2026 for an MSRP of US$190 in Canada.
