Hisense is bringing new Amazon Fire TV products to its TV line-up that will be available in Canada, including the U68HF smart TV, which boasts Amazon’s Fire TV interface built in.
Available in 50- and 58-inch models, the TV includes Alexa voice control and the Fire TV smart TV interface. The TV also features Hisense’s proprietary 4K ULED technology, Quantum Dot colour, Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10/HDR10+, a 60Hz variable refresh rate, 240 motion rate and 600 nit peak brightness.

With Fire TV built in, owners can access content from streaming apps like Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+, with an appropriate subscription. In Canada, there’s also the option to stream from free services like CBC Gem.
The TV comes with the Alexa Voice Remote for using voice commands to search for and launch more than 100 apps as well as do things like change channels, play music, and control other compatible smart home devices. These include doorbells and cameras, with the ability to view video feeds from compatible doorbells and smart home cameras with features like Live View Picture-in-Picture.
The TV also includes Game Mode Plus, which decreases input lag, reduces response time and frame-rate issues on next-generation game consoles via HDMI connectivity. Other features gamers will appreciate is the 60Hz Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode.
Available exclusively on amazon.ca, the 50″ U68HF is $650 and the 58″ model is $800.
