At IFA 2024, beyerdynamic is unveiling the MMX 330 PRO, the first open-back headset in the MMX gaming line-up.
Designed for serious gamers, the MMX 330 PRO combines professional studio drivers, improved microphone quality, superior comfort, and a wide soundstage that delivers a spacious, realistic gaming experience, says the company.
MMX 330 PRO features the same high-quality STELLAR.45 driver found in beyerdynamic’s MMX 300 PRO and PRO X studio headphones. Beyerdynamic says the headphones provide more balanced bass and treble than its closed-back MMX 300 PRO counterpart, with crystal-clear mids and detailed highs.
Additionally, the open-back design of the MMX 330 PRO creates a wider soundstage, making in-game environments feel more realistic and immersive. The result is a more natural and spacious audio experience.
The cardioid polar pattern of the MMX 330 PRO’s 10mm condenser microphone is designed to capture voices naturally while minimizing background noise, allowing you to stay focused on the action. Additionally, the combined MMX 330 cable eliminates crosstalk, ensuring your teammates won’t hear the game picked up through your microphone signal.
The ultra-soft velour ear pads are filled with a combination of breathable memory foam and open foam to improve localization and keep the sound spacious and natural. The buttoned head cushion, made of soft and flexible memory foam, also adjusts to the shape of your head. The integrated fontanelle recess prevents pressure on sensitive areas, ensuring maximum comfort even during marathon gaming sessions. With lightweight materials and easily replaceable parts, the MMX 330 PRO is designed for prolonged use without causing gamer fatigue.
Engineered at beyerdynamic’s HQ in Heilbronn, Germany, MMX 330 PRO has robust metal parts and scratch-resistant plastic construction, making it a durable companion designed to withstand the rigors of regular gaming.
