HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has announced the JBL L150 Classic, a three-way floor standing speaker and the new flagship of its Classic Series. The L150 Classic made its public debut at Audio Video Show 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, October 23–25.
The L150 Classic takes its styling from JBL models of the 1970s, combining the Classic Series’ appearance with updated drivers, crossover design, and acoustic tuning. JBL also released the reissued classic L82 in 2002

Kevin Kent, Senior Global Product Line Manager, HARMAN Luxury Audio, said the model is intended to bring JBL’s large-format speaker designs to a wider audience while retaining the brand’s engineering approach.
Features:
- 15-inch Pure Pulp Differential Drive woofer
- Dedicated 6.5-inch polymer-coated midrange driver
- 28mm titanium dome tweeter with waveguide and acoustic lens
- 33Hz low-frequency extension
- Front-panel high- and low-frequency level controls
- Walnut veneer cabinet with magnetically attachable black Quadrex grille
- Bi-wire and bi-amplification capability

The driver configuration consists of a 15-inch (380mm) Pure Pulp Differential Drive® woofer with a cast frame, a 6.5-inch (165mm) polymer-coated Pure Pulp midrange driver with a cast frame, and a 28mm titanium dome tweeter with a waveguide and acoustic lens. The crossover frequencies are 310 Hz and 1.8 kHz.
The bass-reflex cabinet has a sloped front baffle that directs sound toward the listener and two front ports. JBL specifies low-frequency extension to 33 Hz, or 30.5 Hz with the low-frequency control set to +2 dB. Front-panel high- and low-frequency level controls allow users to adjust the speaker’s output to suit their room and listening preferences.

The cabinet is finished in natural walnut wood veneer and includes a magnetically attached black Quadrex foam grille. The JBL L150 Classic will be available in 2027 with a suggested retail price of US$9,999 per pair. JBL is exclusively distributed in Canada by Erikson Consumer.
