Life360 has launched its new Pet GPS, a pet tracker designed for furry friends that works with the Life360 app and unlocks new features in it.
With the GPS collar on their pet, you can stay connected to the location of the dog or car in the Life360 app, alongside other family members and items tagged with Tile trackers. It boasts extended battery life and includes features like geofencing, escape alerts, and access to a new community-powered Pet Finding Network. Use the global member base to get alerts if your pet is spotted, while others can send alerts to the community if they spot a lost pet, or one that is in need of help.
The Life360 Pet GPS combines cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technology to deliver a pet’s accurate location, updated up to every 2-4 seconds when away from home. It lasts for up to 14 days per charge after which it enters a Bluetooth Reserve Mode, which keeps your pet locatable for up to six months or until you recharge it
Pet GPS is water, dust, and bite resistant with an IP68 rating, and it has a built-in safety light and chime, great for use during late night bathroom walks outside in the dark. Custom geofenced safe zones can be set in the Life360 app, triggering an Escape Alert if a pet strays beyond those boundaries.
New Pet Profiles on Life360 store important details like their name, image, breed, and emergency contact information. These details are shared when issuing a Lost Pet Alert to the community-powered Pet Finder Network, which includes more than 88 million.
A Life360 Gold or Platinum membership will cover several Pet GPS trackers. These memberships also include unlimited Place Alerts, Crash Detection with Emergency Dispatch, Roadside Assistance, Stolen Phone Protection, and more.
Life360 Pet GPS is available in Pink Punch, Navy Blaze, and Black for US$50, but you can grab it for US$3.60 plus the price of a Gold or Platinum membership as an introductory offer right now. The activation fees will also be waived for the first device, while each additional remains US$80. A Life360 Gold membership is $15/mo. in Canada and Platinum is $25/mo.
