Aaron Johnson (1963–2024)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Aaron Johnson on December 14, 2024, at the age of 61. Aaron was a beloved and respected member of the 12-Volt industry, known for his extensive knowledge of audio but more importantly, his passion, kindness, and boundless creativity.
Aaron was an independent rep who represent Gemsen, Importel, and Erikson Consumer focusing on the interior BC which was close to his home.
As a sales representative, Aaron brought a unique blend of professionalism and personal connection to his work. Meetings with him never felt like business but rather spending time with a friend who truly cared about the success and happiness of others. His deep love for the 12-volt industry, combined with his exceptional ability to mentor and inspire, left an indelible mark on countless members of our industry.
Aaron’s passion for building and woodworking, his deep love of Volkswagens, and his devotion to his farm life, exemplified his multifaceted personality. Whether building his dream workshop, nurturing his property, or dancing under a disco ball with his friends and loved ones, Aaron lived life with joy, humor, and dedication. He was a true craftsman, a phenomenal cook and a friend who always went the extra mile to support those around him.
Aaron is survived by his wife of 26 years, Leah, his children Kayla, Seth, and Cyrus, and his grandson Lucas, among many additional cherished family members and friends. His warmth, wisdom, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The 12-volt industry has lost one of its brightest stars, but Aaron’s legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he created.
