Maono PD200W Wireless Podcast Mic Can Connect Via USB

Maono will launch the PD200W this November, a wireless dynamic podcast microphone that can connect to devices three ways and affords studio-quality sound.

The triple-mode connectivity microphone connects via 2.4GHz, USB, and XLR. Dual-channel stereo recording means a single receive connects to two mics simultaneously, capturing eachc signal separately on the left and right channels, making git ideal for two-person podcasts. This allows for independent volume adjustment for each speaker in post-production and eliminates track-mixing issues in multi-person podcasts and interviews.

It can capture high-resolution audio when connected directly to phones, tablets, and cameras. You get 48kHz/24-bit sampling with 82dB signal-to-noise ratio for ultra-quiet recordings with no unwanted noise. It affords 128dB max SPL for distortion-free performance, even at high volumes. Multi-level noise reduction helps minimize environmental background sounds and room acoustics, so you get cleaner, more focused audio without the need for heavy post-processing, says the company.

Because of the multiple connectivity options, the mic is great for beginners who are starting with their smartphones or tablets before moving up to more serious gear. It also allows for switching among platforms, thus reducing time spend on post-production.
