Honor has introduced a slew of new products at MWC 2025, currently underway in Barcelona, including the Honor Watch 5 Ultra, Honor Pad V9, and the Honor Earbuds Open. All three are part of Honor’s “Alpha Plan,” a new corporate strategy to transform the brand from a smartphone maker to an AI device ecosystem company.
Honor Watch 5 Ultra

The lightweight and durable Honor Watch 5 Ultra has a grade 5 titanium case and 1.5-inch AMOLED LTPO always-on screen with an up to 60Hz refresh rate. Powered by a 480mAh battery, you’ll get up to 15 days battery life per charge under typical usage.
The watch features a Quick Health Scan for a comprehensive overview of your health, along with a Healthy Morning Report that delivers a summary of the previous day’s health data to help start the day. The all-day health tracking features continuously monitor key indicators, promoting physical and mental wellness.
Honor Pad V9

Honor is also showing the ultra-thin Honor Pad V9, which has a double-ring surrounding its back camera and features a NIL Nano-topography process on its cover, which protects the screen against dirt, fingerprints, and smudges.
With SGS Gold Five-star Whole Machine High-strength Certification, the Pad V9 is built to handle everyday use with a bending resistance of 100N/mm. Available in white and grey, it boasts a slim, unibody design features that is both lightweight at 475 grams and ultra-thin at 6.1mm.
Equipped with an 11.5-inch LCD with an 88% screen-to-body ratio, 2.8K resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate, it supports a wide DCI-P3 colour gamut, and affords brightness of 500 nits. It also features Honor Eye Protection Technology and is certified with the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) Certification, reducing harmful blue light by 6.3% to ease eye strain and fatigue.
The tablet further incorporates Dynamic Dimming, which mimics natural light patterns, stimulating ciliary muscle activity and reducing eye fatigue by 18%.
AI Efficiency Productivity tools are intelligent features that streamline multitasking and enhance workflow efficiency. The Honor Pad V9 runs the latest MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, which comes with a range of AI productivity features.
The tablet houses a robust 10,100mAh large battery that can last 13.5 hours of online video streaming, 7.2 hours of gaming, 16.7 hours of social media browsing, and 40 hours of music streaming. The included 35W wired charger offers a fast recharge option as well.
Honor Earbuds Open

Finally, Honor will be showing the Earbuds Open, an open-ear pair of wireless earbuds with advanced AI capabilities. Each earbud weighs just 7.9 grams and is made using ski-friendly silicone that is comfortable to wear for long periods as well.
Offering surround cinema stereo, they come with dynamic drivers that Honor says afford “deep bass and crips treble” so you can enjoy an immersive listening experience. They also come with active noise cancellation to reduce ambient noise along with environmental noise cancellation for clearer calls in windy environments.
With integrated AI features, the Honor Earbuds Open integrate Google Assistant and can pair with the Honor Magic7 Pro for leveraging AI translation features, which support 15 languages through three modes: shared mode, exclusive mode, and simultaneous interpretation.
Shared mode lets users take turns speaking different languages into the phone to hear the translation in the opposite ear or listen to continuous speech translation with no delay. It’s ideal for international students in peer discussions or lectures, or workers in meetings with foreign colleagues. Exclusive mode is better suited to travelers, with translation played through the phone’s speakers as one person speaks so you can easily communicate with locals. Also good for lectures is simultaneous interpretation mode, which allows you to listen to real-time translations through the earphones as the speaker talks.
Equipped with a robust 58mAh battery and 480mAh charging case, the Honor Earbuds Open include a Find Earbuds function that emits a beeping sound to help locate misplaced earbuds. They also have intuitive controls for playing music, activating Noise Reduction, and more.
To further demonstrate Honor’s Alpha Plan and its emphasis on a consumer-centric approach and open ecosystem, Honor pledged to provide seven years of Android OS and security updates for its Hono Magic Series, starting with the Honor Magic7 Pro.
