A new Nintendo Switch bundle is available, geared towards families, that includes the console along with Nintendo Switch Sports and a Leg Strap Bundle. The Canadian-exclusive bundle is available for $420, affording an added value of $70.
Along with the Nintendo Switch system, the bundle includes the Leg Strap accessory and a download code for the Nintendo Switch Sports game. The Nintendo Switch Sports game uses Joy-Con motion controllers for dunking, swinging, kicking, spiking, and bowling in basketball, golf, soccer, volleyball, bowling, tennis, badminton, and Chambara (swordplay).
A Nintendo Switch Online membership and online account are required to access online play. The Nintendo Switch + Nintendo Switch Sports™ + Leg Strap Bundle will be available exclusively in Canada in early October.
The Nintendo Switch has been replaced by the Nintendo Switch 2, which affords plenty of upgrades and a new design, and sells for $630. But for family use, the original Nintendo Switch remains a viable option worth considering. Many games are backwards compatible as well, so if you decide to upgrade, you’ll still be able to enjoy the same games on the newer console down the line.
