Noble Sceptre

The Noble Sceptre is a Compact Bluetooth Dongle

Noble Audio is introducing its new Sceptre, a compact Bluetooth dongle designed to deliver better wireless sound from any device.

Designed to bypass the limitations of built-in Bluetooth hardware found in smartphones, tablets, and laptops, Sceptre acts as an external high-performance transmitter, enabling support for advanced codecs like LDAC and aptX Adaptive. The result, says Noble Audio, is cleaner, more consistent, high-quality wireless audio played through any compatible Bluetooth audio device.

At the core of Sceptre is Qualcomm’s latest QCC5181 Bluetooth chipset, supporting Bluetooth 5.4 for reliable, efficient wireless performance. By handling Bluetooth transmission externally, says Noble Audio, Sceptre allows you to take full advantage of advanced codecs including LDAC, aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC, even on devices that would otherwise be restricted to basic Bluetooth audio. Ideally, you can pair it with Noble Audio’s own true wireless earphones, but they work with any high-quality Bluetooth headphones.

To support extended listening sessions, Noble has equipped Sceptre with a charge-through USB-C port so you can charge the device while listening. This ensures uninterrupted playback during long commutes, travel, or desk-based use.

With a Bluetooth transmission range of up to 20 metres, Sceptre can be used with a wide range of Bluetooth audio products, including true wireless earphones, over-ear headphones, and powered speakers. Set-up is simple using the Noble app, after which it can connect to any compatible USB-C device.

The Noble Audio Sceptre is available for US$70.
