OnePlus has launched its latest Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, which becomes the new flagship of the line.
The OnePlus Pad 3 comes finished in Storm Blue and combines premium hardware with smart software and AI. Measuring less than 6mm thin, it boasts an all metal unibody design that is strong and bend resistant. Inside are eight symmetrically placed speakers with four woofers and four tweeters for an immersive audio experience.
Equipped with a 13.2-inch 3.4K, 12-bit colour depth, 315ppi display, it offers a unique 7:5 aspect ratio, ideal for multitasking. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Thanks to the powerful cooling system, it’s suitable for both intense work and multitasking as well as gaming. Vapor chambers made of a graphene composite material dissipate heat better than competing tablets, claims OnePlus.
The tablet runs on a massive 12,140mAh battery so you can get up to six continuous hours of AAA game play, play short videos for up to 15 hours, or long videos for more than 17 hours. The Pad 3 remains on standby for 70 days and will hold its charge for more than two full years if switched off. Once ready to recharge, it supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging, so you can get an extra 18% battery after just 10 minutes. A bonus: buyers in both Canada and the U.S. get an 80W SUPERVOOC charger in the box.

The OnePlus Pad 3 ships with OxygenOS 15, the latest version of the company’s operating system, which includes all the latest AI tools like AI Writer and AI Summarize along with a wide range of photo customization tools. You also get Google AI features like Gemini and Circle to Search. Through the improved Open Canvas feature, there’s a better system level drag and drop mechanism, and a new way of starting the split screen function. If you’re trying to arrange a meetup with friends and constantly flipping between the group chat and your maps app, OnePlus Pad 3 will automatically suggest you split your screen between the two apps.

The OnePlus Pad 3 will come with three Android OS updates and six years of bi-monthly security updates. It sells in Canada starting July 8 for $1,000. Students get 10% off from June 5 to July 31, 2025 on OnePlus.com. From June 5 to July 17, 2025, OnePlus is offering an up to $100 trade-in bonus discount for eligible trade-in devices on OnePlus.com. Stay tuned for my review.
Complementary Accessories

OnePlus has also introduced a slew of complementary accessories for the OnePlus Pad 3.
The OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard ($250) has larger, spaced-out keycaps that give a PC-style feel, as well as useful command keys and a dedicated AI button, and the same massive trackpad. It can also be adjusted to between 110- and 165-degree angles and continues to support NFC transfers and instant magnetic connection. These innovations come at no increase to the overall keyboard weight.
OnePlus Pad 3 pairs with OnePlus Stylo 2 ($150) as well, a stylus pen that recognizes 16,000 different levels of pressure. OnePlus Pad 3 also uses the stylus in new ways. Swipe the pen down in the upper right corner of the display and you can automatically annotate what’s displayed on the tablet. If the display is off, a simple tap with OnePlus Stylo 2 will instantly take you to the shorthand notes page to jot down quick ideas.
Finally, there’s the OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case ($65) with a new tri-folding design that ensures it’s stable at any angle. Fold the case up into a traditional triangle for a steady 20-degree angle, perfect for drawing, writing, or taking notes. Adjust to the new triangular folded design and OnePlus Pad 3 adopts a 44-degree angle, allowing for inclined viewing when looked at head on. For even higher angles, fold the case into its ‘Y’ shape for 60- and 72-degree viewing angles for even clearer reading. Close the case and OnePlus Pad 3 will automatically switch off. The new magnetic buckle also means the case protects OnePlus Stylo 2, helping ensure it never gets lost in a bag.

The OnePlus Pad 3, OnePlus Pad 3 Smart Keyboard, and OnePlus Pad 3 Folio Case will be available for pre-order on OnePlus.com on June 5, with open sale for these products beginning on July 8, 2025.
From June 5 to July 7, 2025, on OnePlus.com, those that pre-order the device are eligible to receive two out of the three accessories for free.
I’ll be reviewing the tablet alongside many of these accessories. Stay tuned!
