The RedMagic 10 Air is a smartphone that is specifically engineered to provide superior mobile gaming performance.
Boosted with AI-powered enhancements, the phone is 7.85mm thin and 205 grams. It features a 2.5D straight edge with a slight curve at the edges, and an aluminum middle frame. With a premium matte metal body enhanced by subtle RGB lighting and responsive triggers, the matte texture boasts a delicate, subtle sheen, achieved through the anti-glare (AG) glass etching process and matte-gloss integrated technology, making it resistant to fingerprints.
Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and powered by the Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, the phone supports generative AI models. RedMagic also integrates its proprietary RedCore R3 co-processors, which can handle auxiliary gaming functions like haptic feedback, audio processing, and RGB lighting control. This, says the company, allows the primary chipset to operate more efficiently under sustained load.
The phone has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits peak brightness, and a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio. The 2,000Hz touch sampling rate and 960Hz continuous tracking makes it especially responsive during intense gaming sessions.
Further, the RedMagic 10 Air features a nine-layer ICE Cooling System that includes liquid metal, typically found in gaming laptops, adapted to enhance thermal performance in a smartphone form factor. It is processed into a stable, high-conductivity piece that efficiently transfers heat from the vapor chamber to the internal fan.
Equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, 10 Air offers up to 28 hours of usage on a single charge and supports 80W fast charging. The Magic Key is a customizable side-mounted control that can be configured to launch frequently used features such as Game Space, camera, translation, or sound profile switching.

In terms of cameras, it comes with a dual 50MP camera system with a main OV50E sensor that includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 7P lens, and an APL-coated anti-glare layer to reduce glare and camera shake, and to help deliver sharp, detailed shots even in low-light conditions. The secondary OV50D 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera is ideal for landscapes and group photos, with a distortion correction algorithm that keeps wide shots looking accurate and clean without the usual stretching at the edges.
RedMagic 10 Air’s exclusive Game Space offers quick access to games, gameplay recording, and powerful tools like Somatosensory Control, Screen Extraction, and Auxiliary Line. Players can enjoy AAA mobile titles in handheld mode with a controller or switch to Host Mode to play with PC-level precision. Additional features include the Quick Picture Library, Quick Notes, and the View Board, which stores up to 50 editable images and notes.
There’s Frame Interpolation that boosts video playback up to 120Hz; a refreshed UI for quicker access and a cleaner layout; and Z-Smart Cast that supports low-latency screen casting up to 120 FPS, allowing users to share gameplay or content with zero delay. In a subsequent system update, it will be renamed to Smart Cast.
Additionally, the RedMagic 10 Air has responsive shoulder triggers with a 520Hz touch response rate and RGB lighting; dual flagship-grade speakers for immersive DTS:X Ultra certified sound enhanced by Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound tuning; a super linear motor for dynamic 4D vibration feedback; support for dual-band 5G Wi-Fi; dual SIM compatibility; and an NFC module with Google Play support.
Alongside the RedMagic 10 Air, the company is also introducing the VC Cooler 6 Series with three models for gamers and mobile power users. The VC Cooler 6 Pro is the flagship model with top-tier cooling performance. The VC Cooler 6 is a clip-on model (not MagSafe compatible); while the VC Cooler 6 Air is a compact and lightweight version that supports MagSafe. All three are designed to enhance the system’s performance, allowing the phone to maintain high speeds and performance stability during demanding gaming and other uses.
