Sennheiser and Mercedes-Benz have teamed up to launch the Mercedes-AMG edition of the HD 620X gaming headphones, revealed at Gamescon 2026.
Johann Evanno, Category Director for Sennheiser Consumer Hearing, emphasizes how important sound is for the gaming experience. “It’s essential for shaping an immersive world, and the raw emotion that comes from serious gameplay,” he says. “From redlined engine notes to distant footsteps, the HD 620 Mercedes-AMG Edition can elevate in-game audio cues into a competitive advantage.”

Set to ship in November 2026, the HD 620 Mercedes-AMG Edition delivers passive noise isolation and comes with the HD 500 BAM (boom arm mic) for clear speech pickup and hands-free communication when you need it. It also detaches when you want to just focus on a listening session.
The HD 620 Mercedes-AMG Edition will retail in Canada for $549.95.

Hearing aid manufacturer Sonova acquired Sennheiser’s consumer division in 2021, and earlier this year, Sonova announced its intention to divest the business and return to its core focus of hearing care. In a Reddit post, the company said the separation “aligns well with our strategic focus” and noted that it’s actively looking for “the right new owner.” Sennheiser has continued to launch new products since, including fantastic headphones like the Sennheiser Momentum 5 Wireless. Time will tell where ownership will lie in the future.
