Shokz OpenDots ONE

The Shokz OpenDots ONE are the Brand’s First Open-Ear Headphones

The Shokz OpenDots ONE, which launched in the U.S. at the end of April, are the brand’s first open-ear headphones, designed like clip-on buds that integrate the company’s open-ear technology to provide sound without completely plugging your ear. And they’re now officially coming to Canada.

The lightweight buds are designed for all-day wear, made with a flexible nickel titanium JointArc that affords a gentle yet secure grip. This is combined with soft silicone on the exterior of the speaker that helps minimize pressure.

Thanks to the open-ear design, you can listen to music, podcasts, or take calls while still remaining aware of your surroundings. Bassphere Technology combines dual 11.8mm drivers in a spherical module to replicate the performance of a 16mm driver, so you get “punchy, dynamic bass and crisp highs,” says Shokz.

As Shokz’s first headphone with Dolby Audio, OpenDots ONE also include DirectPitch Technology to afford minimal sound leakage.

With up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 40 hours with the case that supports wireless charging, OpenDots ONE is also IP54 water resistant. Dynamic Ear Detection allows the earbuds to automatically recognize which bud is in which ear, so you don’t have to worry about looking for left or right markers. Control playback using the touch controls let on the battery compartment or JointArc, or by ‘pinching’ the battery with two fingers.

Personalize the listening experience using the Shokz App, which enables multipoint pairing between two devices, four pre-set EQ modes plus two personalized EQ, Find My Earbuds, and more.
