Skullcandy is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new line of audio products under the limited-edition Acid Snow Camo collection. Designed exclusively for specialty boardsport retailers, the products feature bright colours and retro designs with a ‘90s skate spin. The line consists of the Crusher ANC 2 Sensory Bass headphones, the Dime 3 true wireless earbuds, and the Kilo wireless Bluetooth speakers.

The Acid Snow Camo Crusher ANC 2 headphones, which sell for an MSRP of US$250, offer up to 60 hours of battery life with ANC off (up to 50 hours with ANC on) and can rapid charge in 10 minutes for another up to four hours of playtime. They include Skullcandy’s patented bass technology, which allows for adjustable sensory bass. This is combined with adjustable four-mix active noise cancelling that actively monitors the surrounding environment to filter out external noise.
You’ll also find Skull-iQ Smart Feature Technology, which allows you to give simple, hands-free voice commands to take calls, change tracks, adjust volume, turn on and adjust Stay-Aware Mode, activate your device’s assistant, launch Spotify Tap, Take Photo, and more. You can also enable additional hands-free voice services, including “Alexa” and “Hey iHeart”, to connect directly to your favourite brands.
Update these headphones, which boast asymmetrical, ergonomic earcups, via over-the-air updates from the Skull-iQ app, which can also be used to tune sound to your personal liking. You can use the app to take a real-time audio test and create a Personal Sound Profile for optimized audio levels. They can pair with multiple devices at home and include Clear Voice Smart Mic to reduce background noises during calls as well. Along with preset and custom EQ modes, there are also customizable button functions using on-board controls. Auto on/connect ensures they pair seamlessly with the last device to which you had them connected. Additionally, there’s built-in Tile finding technology.
For US$40, the Acid Snow Camo Dime 3 true wireless earbuds offer 20 hours of battery life plus rapid charging, with eight hours in the buds and an extra 12 with the included charging case. They are IPX4 sweat- and water-resistant with ergonomically designed ear gels for all-day comfort. They offer multi-point pairing and you can use the buds together or solo. There’s also audio tuning, a stay aware mode, built-in Tile finding technology, Clear Voice Smart mic to help reduce background noise, preset EQ modes, call, and volume, and media controls. They come with an integrated lanyard loop.
The Acid Snow Camo Kilo wireless Bluetooth speaker (US$40) can run for up to 24 hours per charge. It’s IPX7 waterproof, so it can be immersed in down to three feet of water for up to 30 minutes. The acoustically transparent waterproof fabric mesh is engineered to maximize the passthrough of high frequency audio waves, keeping the speaker’s sound bright and clear. It’s also rugged, able to withstand the elements. Clip it to a backpack, belt, bag, or other items using the included aluminum anodized carabiner and the built-in nylon strap. It affords wireless Bluetooth 5.3 streaming for stable transmission, true wireless stereo by connecting two together, and impressive bass thanks to the downward firing passive radiator.
