Staples Canada Appoints Rachel Huckle as CEO

Staples Canada has announced the appointment of Rachel Huckle as CEO, effective March 1, 2024. As CEO, Huckle will be responsible for overseeing the more than 300 Staples retail stores, the digital services business, and the Staples Professional B2B business.

With more than 20 years of experience in the retail sector, Huckle brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her new role. Having served as chief retail officer (2019), and president and COO (2022) at Staples Canada, she played a pivotal role in the retailer’s transformation to The Working and Learning Company.

Under her guidance, Staples has expanded its products and services to provide more value and selection for consumers, grown its business-to-businesses offerings serving Canadian businesses of all sizes, and forged important strategic partnerships that have significantly enhanced the business, says the company.
