Continuing along the popular 3000 Series, SVS, the American audio company known for its innovative speaker solutions, has announced the launch of the 3000 Micro R Evolution subwoofer. The new subwoofer is designed to deliver uncompromising bass performance in a remarkably smaller cabinet size.
At the heart of the 3000 Micro R Evolution is a pair of dual opposing active 9” drivers configured to maximize output while minimizing cabinet vibration. The subwoofer provides 1,200 Watts of continuous amplification with 4,000 Watts peak ensuring effortless low-frequency extension and dynamic punch.

The subwoofer’s 11” cabinet is constructed from premium MDF with internal bracing, providing stability and resonance control. Advanced 295MHz Analog DSP technology monitors power delivery, thermal management and driver excursion to optimize performance and tailor the bass response to any room, with precise adjustments available via the SVS smartphone app. The 3000 Micro R Evolution features a sealed enclosure for tight, accurate bass and offers a frequency response down to 20 Hz to 230 Hz, making it ideal for both cinematic and musical applications.
Measuring just 10.9” h x 11.8” w x 10.8 inches deep, the 3000 Micro R Evolution is stated by SVS to deliver sound that rivals much larger subwoofers and was created to accommodate a décor-friendly environment. Finished in elegant piano gloss black or white, it is SVS’s statement piece that brings SVS’s known powerful performance into smaller spaces.
The SVS 3000 Micro R Evolution will ship starting in July and is exclusively distributed in Canada by Evolution Home Corp with a suggested retail price of $1,700 CDN.
