Gemsen Distribution has announced the Danish audio brand Tangent has expanded their line of compact audio products, and a series of new SKU’s will appear in the Canadian market by mid-December.
Included in the new releases is the Tangent PowerAmpster III, the third generation of the compact, high-performance power amplifier. The new generation features a modernized design and the addition of a 12V trigger input, simplifying integration into a connected installation. The PowerAmpster III has a rated power output of 2 X 100 watts, RCA and XLR balanced stereo analogue inputs in a close to 7.8” square chassis. Accompanying the amp is the release of the Tangent CD III, the third generation of the brand’s CD player that adds gapless playback, ideal for back-to-back albums or live concerts. An enhanced display screen provides clear, intuitive navigation and the chassis complements the same size as the new PowerAmpster III. The CD player has an MSRP of $299.00 SKU: TANCDIII
Tangent has also released the preAmpIII to complement the power amplifier and adds features such as optical-in, Bluetooth 5.1 APTX HD, RCA phono and line in and a 12V Trigger out for simple connectivity to the PowerAmpster III. The preAmpIII has an MSRP of $299.00. SKU: PREAMPIII
Lastly has released a Tuner III to the modular audio system adding FM and thousands of internet radio stations. Clarity is enhanced via the built-in 16-bit / 48 kHz DAC and a signal to noise ratio is excess of 92 dBA. The MSRP on the tuner is $299.00 SKU:TANTUNIII
