DALI Kupid Compact Speaker

I mean, how can I not recommend a speaker that’s literally called the Kupid for Valentine’s Day? Available from DALI, which is distributed in Canada by Lenbrook Industries, the Kupid is a compact, downright adorable high-performance loudspeaker that delivers hifi sound in a stylish, premium finish. Designed to introduce a new generation of music lovers to the joy of high-quality sound, Kupid is $600 per pair yet follows the same sonic philosophies as other DALI high-end flagship products that cost much more. Designed and engineered in Denmark, it’s small enough to fit just about anywhere, has textured magnetic grilles, and comes in five finish options: Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue, each featuring colour-matched bass/midrange cones and grilles. It’s the perfect gift for your music-loving partner.
JBL Soundgear CLIPs Open-Ear Headphones

JBL is known for delivering quality audio products, and the JBL Soundgear CLIPs open-ear headphones employ a neat design that anyone who doesn’t like traditional in-ear buds will appreciate. Instead, they use air conduction technology, sitting outside of the ears and leaving the canals open. Perfect for a partner who loves to run or works out at the gym and wants to maintain situational awareness while still enjoying a secure fit, the $230 earbuds still purport to offer JBL’s signature sound with speaker positioning that ensures solid bass performance and stops sound leakage. They come in four colours with a colour-matched charging case to give you up to 32 hours of listening per charge. JBL products are available in Canada through Erikson Consumer. Stay tuned for my review.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy TriFold phone, one of the coolest products I saw at CES 2026, is a head-turner. But while it’s coming to the U.S. on January 30, 2026, there’s no confirmed date for availability in Canada just yet. That said, if you want to get them a cool foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 won’t disappoint. It unfolds to a tablet-sized device with a barely noticeable crease. It’s snappy with a vibrant screen and cool features that make use of the dual screen and convenient outer screen design. This is a phone upgrade that shows you care by getting them something far different than their usual bar-shaped phone. It starts at $2,500, but if this is for your spouse, you might be able to get them the upgrade through the carrier and finance it through the year. Read my review.
Morel Biggie Bluetooth Speaker

Surprise them with a cute new Bluetooth speaker like the Morel Biggie, which is available in Canada through Gemsen. Despite the name, it’s actually quite compact at just 7 x 7 inches, perfect for the desktop. It uses customized DSP technology to optimize sound quality and Morel’s signature dynamic EQ for sound balancing with zero distortion. Get up to 20 hours of battery life, so they can take it outside, too. It uses Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 for a range of up to 165 feet from the source device and supports TWS pairing and multi-speaker connection. With nine attractive finishes, you can find one in their favourite colour. It sells for $499. Read our review.

Travelpro Hydrogen Three-Piece Luggage Set

Picture it: you book a trip for you and your partner, whether it’s a weekend away in Tremblant or a week in Hawaii. If you want to focus on an epic gift-giving presentation moment, maybe one you can post online, invest in a new luggage set they can get excited about using for the upcoming vacation. I love and use Travelpro luggage, and the Hydrogen Three Piece luggage set has sizes for everything from a weekend away to two weeks in Europe, with a carry-on and medium and large checked suitcases included in the set. They each boast hardshell protection and glide on eight spinner wheels so you can maneuver them 360°. There’s a push-button handle with two locking positions and, a feature overpackers like me would appreciate, a 2-inch expansion. Based on my own Travelpro set, yes, this expansion makes a huge difference. Don’t forget to hide the trip tickets inside for maximum effect. The set is normally $680 but you can get it now for $476.
Apple AirTag

Does your love often lose or misplace items? Do they (or you both) travel often? If so, a new Apple AirTag is a thoughtful if not romantic gift. The first major update to the item tracker since it originally launched in 2021, the new version boasts more powerful precision finding for your partner who always misplaces items in the house, as well as a longer Bluetooth range and louder speaker. Perfect for luggage, a purse, bag, backpack, gym bag, or other items they want to make sure aren’t lost, stolen, or left behind, it uses a more powerful chip and can guide you to items even farther away, like finding your glasses case you dropped somewhere in the park or keys hiding somewhere in a building. With the ability to share the location with partner airlines or good citizens, anyone nearby can help reunite you with your lost item. Get them one for $39 or a pack of four for $129. You’ll want one of the FineWoven Key Rings as well if it’s going to clip to anything, available in fox orange, midnight purple, navy, moss, and black for $49. Or you can find lots of affordable alternative cases and key rings on Amazon.
SwitchBot AI Art Frame

Forget a traditional digital photo frame. The SwitchBot AI Art Frame can display all types of works of art, including ones they create themselves using NanoBanana. Available in 7.3-, 13.3-, and 31.5-inch frames, it uses E-Ink Spectra 6 technology that mimics the texture and depth of real artwork with oil painting-like colour layers and a paper-like finish. The display is glare-free, backlight-free, and easy on the eyes. Use the SwitchBot app to upload, organize, and refresh content daily, storing up to 10 pictures locally or syncing new pictures to diplay in either landscape or portrait mode. With AI Studio powered by NanoBanana, they can make their own AI artwork using prompts or the AI Art Remix function that turns photos or sketches into images that resemble oil paintings, watercolours, or anime art. It’s perfect for a creative partner who can have tons of fun creating and displaying their work. It lasts for up to two years (based on one image change weekly) per charge of the 2,000mAh battery, so it’s totally cable-free as well. It’s $200 for the 7.3-inch frame, $400 for the 13.3-inch, and $1,700 for the TV-sized 31.5-inch model that’s perfect for wall mounting. It comes with a 30-day free trial to AI Art Remix that offers up to 400 generations per month, after which the subscription plan is US$4/mo.
Ekster TravelPack Vacuum Kit

Speaking of travel, I recently invested in the Ekster TravelPack Vacuum Kit in hopes that, as many overpacking ladies (and men) often wish, I could fit more in my luggage. Heading to Vegas for CES where I would be for nine days, I wanted to fit as much as possible in my large checked suitcase. (OK, two suitcases). With the weather in January warmer during the day then chilly at night, it meant bringing a wardrobe to ensure I had everything I needed. I was able to pack about six bulky sweaters in one kit. It works just like larger vacuum storage bags using a tiny cylindrical and rechargeable air pump to suck out the air.

Zip it up, open the air hole and suck out the air with the pump and watch your clothing shrink, then seal it. Make sure to pack the pump in your suitcase as well for repacking. It doesn’t shrink to as small as I had hoped (maybe I also overstuffed it). Because it gets very hard, the bag isn’t easy to squeeze into a smaller spot either. But I was able to save enough room to bring maybe two or three more sweaters than I otherwise would. For a beach vacation, I can image tossing tons of thinner, lighter weight sundresses in there and being able to pack twice as much. Get one for US$109, two for US$139, or a four-pack for US$229 on sale.
Moft Smart All-in-One Wallet Stand

I’m a sucker for beautifully designed and functional mobile accessories, and Moft fits both criteria with virtually every product it makes. But one of the coolest, newest options is the Moft Smart All-in-One Wallet Stand, which was introduced at CES 2026 in early January 2026. I switched my existing phone case and grip for a Moft case with this stand and absolutely love it. It clicks onto a compatible phone back or case via MagSafe and functions as both a stand for propping your phone up in portrait or landscape mode and a grip: slide three fingers inside for a more secure hold. But there’s also a slot that can hold two-to-three cards. It’s pretty tight, but I suspect it will become looser over time. Nonetheless, three cards might be too ambitious. The stand also comes with built-in Find My technology, so if you happen to misplace it with cards or cash inside, you can track the location to hopefully locate it. Just press the power button on the back to turn it on, select “Other” from the Find My menu in the app, pair, name it, and it’s ready to be found. You can also navigate to it using precise directions and play a sound if you know it’s nearby in the house but can’t find it. This is one of the easiest to use phone grips I’ve ever tried. The magnets are strong, which is a good thing thought you might find it challenging to slide cards in and out without sliding the stand around on the back of your phone. But overall, this is a convenient accessory that anyone will appreciate.
Rollme Unibeat Couple’s Bracelet

It’s like the new charm bracelet or heart necklace with a tech twist. Great for young and in love couples, buy two of the Rollme UniBeat couple’s bracelets, one for you and one for them. The wearable tracks important vitals with an adjustable brightness screen that displays the time, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep quality, and battery life. Representing a commitment to live a healthier lifestyle, it also supports call notifications and lets you snap photos by shaking your device. It meets a 5ATM rating so you can safely go for a stroll in the rain or even swim with it on. It lasts for up to five days per charge, 15 days of standby time. The UniBeat comes in gold, silver, and black with a magnetic or metal strap for just US$50, so you can buy two for less than the cost of one premium smartwatch.
Sennheiser TS 275 TV Headphones Bundle

Hear me out: the Sennheiser TS 275 TV headphone bundle sounds like the last type of gift you’d want to give a significant other on Valentine’s Day since it encourages solitary TV enjoyment. But it’s a thoughtful one for someone who loves watching TV while their partner prefers quiet, but you still want to be able to spend time together. The headphones come bundled with the BTA1 TV transmitter with Auracast so one person can watch the game, a cheesy reality show, or play video games while the other can get work done, watch something else on their laptop, or read a book in the same room without being bothered. Of course, they can be used as regular wireless headphones for connecting to a laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other Bluetooth device for listening at home or on the go as well. Various modes include enhanced speech clarity and virtual surround sound, so the listener gets a pleasant experience, no matter what they’re watching. Get the bundle for US$300 and your partner will thank you. This gift doesn’t say “I want to be isolated from you,” it says “let’s enjoy quality time together even if we’re doing our own things.”
Weber Performer Charcoal Grill

If your partner is into grilling, upgrade them to the new Weber Performer charcoal grill that employs a refreshed design and enhanced smarts. Go with the 22-inch premium model that comes equipped with an LCD and Wi-Fi-enabled controller that regulates temperature by controlling airflow into the coals. Rapidfire Assist mode allows for faster startup and preheating. Enjoy remote control via a smartphone using the app; a non-smart version is also available). There are also two built-in probe ports to monitor food temperature and one food probe. It comes with a Weber Works side table and side rail for drop in and snap-on accessories, and two wheels for easy mobility plus two swivel locking casters. There’s also a cart, side table, and sturdy storage shelf. Employing a porcelain-enameled finish that is scratch and rust-resistant, adjustable dampers afford manual temperature control, and there’s an improved One-Touch cleaning system that makes ash removal quick and easy. Get it for US$799 or US$649 without the smart features (base models are US$599 and US$449, respectively).
Victrola Soundstage

If your love has a turntable, consider getting them the Victrola Soundstage, a low-profile soundbase that’s designed to sit under a turntable, connecting as a speaker while helping minimize vibrations. You don’t have to only use it with a turntable, it works as a speaker for other wireless devices, too, including computers, TVs, smartphones, and more. It comes with both Bluetooth and Auracast as well as USB-C, RCA, AUX, and 3.5mm ports. For households with limited space, like apartments and condos, this is a sleek, space-saving solution. I had the chance to demo it at CES 2026 and it sounds fantastic, a perfect complement to a Victrola turntable though you can use it with any brand. It measures 16.9 x 15.1 x 3.5 inches and will come in Walnut or Black finishes. It’s not available until the summer for US$350, but you can start with a Victrola turntable and grab this US$350 speaker as a follow-up gift. Victrola products are available in Canada through Erikson Consumer.

Use its built-in smart TV access or connect a source via USB-C or HDMI.
