Targus has introduced its new HeritageLuxe backpack, able to accommodate a 15- or 16-inch laptop and boasting new security and protection features, tech enhancements, and other upgrades that will appeal to busy professionals.
Among the new features is a patent-pending SafeSling laptop protection system that activates upon impact to safeguard a laptop from high-impact drops up to 3.2 feet. This, says Targus, makes the backpack three times more protective than a standard backpack.
It also features strategically positioned pockets and compartments to maximize storage. A removable tech accessory pouch and multiple stash pockets provide tech management while a FlexDivider can be used to separate and store delicate items like lunch or camera equipment, which you can conveniently access from the bottom of the bag.
Additional key features include an RID-blocking stash pocket, a patented retractable USB-C connector for on-the-go charging, ergonomic shoulder straps and padded back panel, premium leather accents, and an interior made from EcoSmart recycled materials, equivalent to 21 water bottles.
Available in black and navy blue, the Targus HeritageLuxe Backpack can now be purchased for an MSRP of $400 in Canada.
