Campfire Audio has launched a pair of new accessories for enhanced portable listening: the Portable DAC Wallet and the Time Link cable.
The Campfire Audio Portable DAC Wallet, which the company calls a “DAC backpack for your phone,” is crafted from leather and attaches snugly to the back of your phone to accommodate a DAC, like the Campfire Audio Relay AC as well as other alternatives. It comes with a custom USB-C cable for reducing tangles and prevents “dongle DACs” from dangling.
It’s compact and aligns connection points for a lower profile, reduced tension fit. This, says Campfire Audio, minimizes the risk of port-wear on either your phone or portable DAC device. For phones or other portable devices without built-in magnetic support, an optional adhesive magnetic ring is supplied.
The Campfire Audio DAC Wallet + Custom USB-C cable is available for US$59.
The Campfire Audio Time Link cable, meanwhile, can be used with smartphones, laptops, digital audio players, and more. Six conductors of high-purity copper and silver-plated copper channel your signal into the swappable termination of your choice, including a powerful, Cirrus Logic, USB-C DAC. The six conductors include three copper and three silver-plated copper and swappable terminations: 3.5mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, and USB-C DAC.
The Campfire Audio Time Link cable sells for US$299.
