Mobile gaming controller manufacturer Serafim has launched the Serafim S3 CarX Edition, a special version of its S3 Universal Mobile Game Controller created in collaboration with CarX Technologies, the studio behind some of the world’s most popular drifting and open-world racing titles.
The new edition introduces a bold red-and-black colour inspired by the CarX racing universe and includes 200 CarX Store Coins, giving players access to exclusive in-game rewards across the CarX ecosystem.

CarX Drift Racing Online, available on PC (Steam), consoles, and mobile, features over 120 cars, extensive customization, and authentic drift handling, with competitive formats like Top-32 designed for tandem drifting. The series also includes CarX Street, an open-world street-racing experience, and CarX Drift Racing 3, the newest mobile entry expanding the franchise’s physics and visual fidelity.
The Serafim S3 CarX Edition is engineered to enhance these titles by delivering precise steering, smooth throttle control, and instant response, says the company, helping players maintain angle, transitions and high-speed drift lines with greater accuracy.
The controller builds on the core S3 platform with features like dual Hall Effect joysticks and analog triggers that provide drift-free precision with no dead zones. This, says Serafim, offers the smooth, consistent movement that is essential for racing titles that rely on fine steering and throttle modulation. The S3 connects directly via USB-C to deliver ultra-low-latency input up to 100 times faster than Bluetooth, ensuring gameplay remains responsive and unaffected by wireless interference.
Apple MFi Certification includes a verified Apple authentication chip to ensure it meets Apple’s strict performance standards and high-quality benchmarks, and guarantees reliable connectivity for a stable performance without lags or drops. It guarantees a seamless, “plug-and-play” experience with the official Made for iPhone seal.

Comfort and adaptability have also been prioritized. The S3 includes interchangeable ergonomic grips with four swappable pieces, allowing players to tailor the controller to their preferred feel. The extendible frame accommodates smartphones up to 17.9 cm in length and supports more than 1,000 phone cases, including both slim and thick protective designs, so players can connect and start gaming without removing their case.
Passthrough charging keeps devices powered during long sessions, while a built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack provides wired audio for private play. There’s also a physical screenshot and screen-recording button, enabling players to capture gameplay moments and share them with a single click.
The controller is powered by the Serafim Console app, which provides access to major gaming platforms including PS Remote Play, Xbox Game Pass, Steam, GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, the App Store, and Google Play. The app also supports livestreaming, allowing players to broadcast gameplay and interact with viewers directly from their smartphone.
The Serafim S3 CarX edition is available for US$90.
