Kanto Audio Previews New Generation of Speakers at HIGH END Vienna

Kanto Audio will preview the next generation of its core speaker lineup at HIGH END Vienna, taking place June 4th–7th at the Austria Center Vienna. Headlining the showcase is the introduction of Tuk Grand, alongside redesigned versions of Tuk, Yu6, and Yu4, plus their passive counterparts.

Tuk Grand is Kanto’s most ambitious speaker to date. And is built on the foundation of Tuk. The Tuk Grand features a revamped cabinet design, increased internal volume, and re-engineered drivers. Together, these changes deliver greater scale, deeper extension, and a more natural, balanced presentation.

Tuk Grand also signals a shift in Kanto’s approach to industrial design. Earlier products were designed to recede into a space; Tuk Grand is designed to belong within it. Sharper geometry, cleaner lines, and more confident proportions give the speaker a stronger presence while maintaining the restraint necessary to remain timeless. Core inputs remain intentionally streamlined, while USB-C powered output and passive configurations provide flexibility for listeners building more customized systems.

Revoiced with a newly developed DSP profile, the second-generation Tuk delivers a more natural and balanced presentation. A larger cabinet form, shaped by its signature combing waveguide geometry and wider AMT tweeter dispersion, improves high frequency smoothness, detail, and consistency across a broader range of listening environments. Connectivity supports Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, USB-C, RCA, and optical inputs.

Yu6 and Yu4, the smaller powered speakers in the Kanto line, receive updated drivers, a redesigned amplifier platform with 30% greater RMS output, and the addition of DSP tuning to deliver greater clarity, deeper low-frequency performance, and a more balanced presentation overall.

The reimagined Kanto YU4

Connectivity has also been modernized across the powered models, with Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, RCA with selectable phono preamp, AUX, optical, and subwoofer output integrated as standard. Passive versions continue to offer flexibility for listeners building systems around external amplification.

The new Kanto YU6

“We designed this new generation with a deliberate mindset,” says Kanto Creative Director Kevin Reid. “Every decision from acoustic, visual, or functional was made to deepen the experience of everyday listening. Our goal is to make hifi more approachable and more meaningful by delivering products that not only sound exceptional on day one, but continue to bring a sense of connection and enjoyment for years to come.”
