Marantz has introduced two new products, the Model 70 integrated amp and the CD 70 CD player. The CD 70 CD player will be available in North America, including Canada, while the amp will only be available in other countries.
The hifi audio products for enthusiasts are both made with high quality materials in black and silver-gold finish (black only for the CD 70 in North America). Both employ a clean, contemporary aesthetic that is designed to complement modern living spaces.

The Model 70 employs an upgraded current-feedback Class A/B amplification topology delivering 50 watts per channel, supported by an enhanced power supply and larger toroidal transformer. The result is greater dynamic expression, improved speaker control and increased authority across a wide range of loudspeaker pairings, says Marantz. There’s also a igh-performance DAC and Marantz’s proprietary HDAM circuitry that preserves the speed, accuracy, and musical character. For vinyl enthusiasts, a high-quality MM phono stage allows direct turntable connection.

It adds HDMI ARC and expanded Bluetooth for supporting both receive and transmit functionality with aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, AAC, and SBC codecs. So, you can stream music in high quality from compatible mobile devices or enjoy personal music or even TV listening through wireless headphones. This is complemented by a range of analog and digital inputs, together with both preamplifier and subwoofer outputs.
For listeners who still value physical media and high-resolution digital collections, CD 70 is engineered around the same high-performance DAC as the Model 70 plus proprietary HDAM circuitry. The front-panel USB-A input adds versatility, supporting playback of high-resolution audio formats including FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF and DSD.

The CD 70 boasts an upgraded power supply, double-layered chassis base, rigid isolation feet, and strategically deployed copper hardware to contribute to improved stability and reduced interference.
For personal listening, there’s a discrete headphone amplifier featuring HDAM technology, adjustable gain control, and automatic headphone detection.
The CD 70 will be available starting August 15, 2026 for $999 in Canada, while the Model 70 will sell in Europe for 850 Euros.
