Amazfit has introduced two new health wearables, the Balance 2 smartwatch and the Helio Strap screen-free fitness, recovery, and sleep tracker. They are designed to use on their own, but there are benefits to using the two together as well.
The Amazfit Balance 2 is a multisport training smartwatch that provide advanced performance tracking. Once paired with the Helio Strap, you can get great accuracy in heart rate monitoring, fatigue assessment, and recovery analysis. All data syncs within the Zepp app so you get a unified ecosystem and experience across all Amazfit devices without the need for additional apps or subscriptions.

Equipped with a scratch-resistant 1.5-inch Sapphire glass screen, the AMOLED display offers up to 2,000 nits brightness. The watch also boasts a 10ATM water-resistance rating and supports both freediving and scuba diving up to 45 metres. It offers an impressive 21-day battery life.
It’s also the first smartwatch with three dedicated HYROX modes designed to support HYROX workouts, a global competition that includes a nix of running and functional workouts. You can plan intervals, heart rate zones, transitions, and recovery, and track and analyze it all in the Zepp app.

More generally, the watch supports daily training across multiple sports, ideal for hybrid athletes and those who do activities like gym workouts, strength training, running, cycling, golf, diving, and more. In total, there are 170+ sports modes, including running, swimming, strength training, HIIT, and pickleball.
You get intelligent tracking, personalized insights, and a design that is suitable for both intense training sessions and workdays and weekend outings. A new BioCharge Score is a perosnalized body energy management feature that continuously analyzes energy levels in real time by integrating data from sleep, naps, exertion, and stress. The idea is to help you balance activity and recovery for better performance.

There’s enhanced monitoring for key biometrics, including exercise, heart rate, HRV, bloox oxygen level, sleep patterns, and more. Additionally, access free downloadable maps for city running and weekend adventures. For golfers, it’s Amazfit’s first smartwatch to feature a full in-round golf experience with 40K+ course maps, pin relocation, hazards, scoring, and swing feedback line swing plane and tempo.

Available for US$99, the Helio Strap is designed to offer screen-free tracking to help eliminate distractions. It quietly captures fitness, sleep, and recovery data without a subscription, which you can monitor in the app. It pairs with Amazfit smartwatches, including the Balance 2, as well as devices like the Amazfit Helio Ring. The Helio Strap also presents the new BioCharge Score.

The Helio Strap can run for up to 10 days per charge and offers continuous heart rate monitoring. It has 27 workout modes, all accessible through the app, including running, walking, cycling, and indoor gym workouts like strength training, HIT, yoga, and more. There are also advanced strength training features with detailed tracking for reps, sets, and rest periods, as well as HYROX Race Mode with race-specific and benchmark training tools.
