You Can Now Get Amazon Canada Items in As Fast as 7 Hours in Some Regions

Amazon Canada is expanding its same-day delivery option in several regions within Ontario as well as Metro Vancouver to allow Prime Members to receive items in as quickly as seven hours. The new delivery option comes into effect within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Southwestern Ontario, and Metro Vancouver.

How Will Overnight Deliveries Work?

Orders placed by midnight will arrive to the customer by the following morning, so you can order that last-minute birthday gift, the cable you need for your trip, or the toiletries or personal care items you’re running low on and don’t have time to scoop over to the grocery store to get.

How to Order These Items

Same-Day and Overnight eligible items can now be found by clicking “Today by” or “Overnight by 8 a.m.” on the search panel, or by filtering by delivery options on the Amazon Shopping app. There are two delivery windows for the overnight option: 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. or 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

What Can You Order?

The new delivery option will pertain to millions of items, says Amazon, including daily essentials like cleaning supplies, pet products, and personal care items. It will also include products from top brands like Reebok, adidas, Mattel, LEGO, and Ninja. The faster same-day delivery will be offered for free to Prime members in the eligible locations on orders over $25, or you can pay $6.99 to fast-track an order that’s under that threshold if it’s something urgent (think an adapter or charger for your phone that you need for a morning flight and stores are already closed).
