AVPro Global, Inc., a manufacturer of distributed AV equipment from brands like AVPro Edge, Murideo, and Bullet Train, has acquired AudioControl’s Home Audio division from parent company AAMP Global, WiFi HiFi has learned.
AVPro Global, Inc. said in a letter to its dealers that the acquisition complements its range of high-performance products for both residential and commercial markets worldwide. The AudioControl Mobile division will remain within the AAMP Global enterprise.
“We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition brings for both AudioControl and AVPro Global customers,” comments Jeff Murray, Global President and CEO of AVPro in a letter to AudioControl. “By combining the expertise and resources of both companies, we will offer an enhanced portfolio of cutting-edge audio/video solutions, backed by the exceptional customer service and support that both companies are known for.”
Murray assures that the acquisition will not impact AudioControl’s relationship with dealers, with warranty, service agreements, and ongoing support continuing as before. He does, however, point out that there could be delays in shipping and order processing “as we migrate out processes together.”
