BUBLUE has introduced two new autonomous pool cleaning products, just in time for summer: the BuHybrid L6 hybrid cord and cordless robotic pool cleaner and the BuVortex V5 surface skimmer. Both are designed to handle pools of various sizes and terrains.
The top-of-the-line BuHybrid L6 combines powerful suction, smart AI, and four specialized cleaning modes for pool walls, floor, and corners. It combines cordless freedom with plug-in endurance, so you can use it both ways, even once the battery runs out. It can operate cordlessly in battery mode for up to two hours or indefinitely when connected to its 49-foot power cord.
The 4-in-1 modes include Floor, Wall, Cross-Platform, and Waterline, adapting to any surface. Its intelligent navigation and wall-climbing capabilities ensure comprehensive coverage, reaching up to 99% of the pool area, says the company. Specialized roller-shaped 5-in-1 scrubbing brushes and tank-style tracks allow it to easily climb walls and clean pool surfaces made of PVC, vinyl, concrete, and fiberglass.
You’ll get powerful 2906 GPH Suction with Bluehole Technology, high-efficiency brushless motors, and an optimized impeller water flow system. Deep Water Pilot is an advanced sonar system for both shallow and deep pool areas. It intelligently detects the pool wall or obstacles at long distances and can adjust the robot’s position in real-time to enable controlled and gradual movement on slopes.
AI-powered smart navigation is offered through advanced sonar, infrared sensors, and an AI camera that all work together to map the pool, detect obstacles, and optimize cleaning paths. It uses N-shape patterns for walls and S-shape for floors for maximum coverage and efficiency.
There’s also Corner Boost technology that, when encountering a wall, the cleaner automatically reverses slightly and advances again, effectively cleaning the edge or corner twice for improved results. It comes with a large 4L filter basket with ultra-fine mesh that captures small debris. The basket is easily removable and washable for hassle-free maintenance.
When the battery runs low, the robot automatically navigates to the pool’s edge for easy retrieval and recharging. Use the BUBLUE app, which connects through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, to monitor all aspects of the robot in real time, receive OTA updates, and fully customize and manage the cleaning experience.

Meanwhile, the BuVortex V5 (US$369) traverses the surface, sweeping floating debris from edge to edge. It’s powered by dual motors and Bublue’s proprietary Bluehole suction technology. Intelligent navigation ensures it can free itself from obstacles, while the rugged (UV) weather-resistant design is built to withstand the elements.
Compatible with all pool types and built to handle any shape, the BuVortex V5 delivers up to 98% coverage. It has two cleaning modes: Auto Mode for routine surface and corner cleaning and Corner Boost Mode for enhanced cleaning along edges and corners. Bluehole Technology powered by dual motors delivers strong suction, effectively removing sand, leaves, and surface-level debris.
With Bluestream technology, during cleaning, it generates a powerful centripetal water flow that creates a vortex effect, swiftly drawing in debris from corners and edges for deeper, more targeted cleaning. The 5L basket and filtration pad traps both large and fine debris, including twigs, sand, hair, and grease, with an overflow-prevention net to stop debris leakage. Bluesonic Path technology allows it to adapt to pools of various shapes and automatically escape from obstacles, skimmer weir, or stairs.
Use the BUBLUE app to select modes, track runtime, receive OTA updates, and trigger the one-click smart poolside parking command for easy retrieval. The app also features “Precise Driving Mode,” allowing you to manually control the robot remotely for thorough cleaning of specific pool areas.
