There are so many uses for the Apple AirTag, and one that has become popular is attaching it to the collar of a pet, like a dog, to keep track of there whereabouts. Catalyst is capitalizing on this with a new dog collar accessory designed specifically for housing the AirTag. This innovation is on display at the company’s CES 2024 booth alongside several other new products.

Catalyst Dog Collar for AirTag
This flat pet collar is adjustable, durable, and quick drying. It is designed to resist scratching and licking and can handle rough-and-tumble play. There’s an extra loop to fit with the Catalyst Total Protection ClipIt Case, which ensures it stays put and doesn’t dangle. The case clips to the collar, ensuring it doesn’t clip against the pet’s fur nor cause rubbing or irritation. The case has a waterproof rating of up to 330 feet and a drop proof rating of up to 10 feet. The waterproof case seals around the back of the Apple AirTag case and screws shut to protect against the elements. It does not reduce the sound for the FindMy app to play and track the dog.
You can confidently find and keep track of a furry friend while it’s in the water, playing in the mud, digging in the snow, or just running around the neighbourhood or dog park. The collar is adjustable with a sturdy, easy-to-clip leash hook. It comes in four sizes and two colours: black and blue.
It will ship in mid-January and sell in Canada for $40.
Catalyst Crossbody Shoulder Strap
A simple way to carry your phone on the go, the Catalyst Crossbody Shoulder Strap (mid-January, $60) is made from durable and high-quality materials. It is compatible with various Catalyst cases and can easily be attached and detached to the built-in corner attachments of Catalyst cases.
Designed to be pull-tested to 10kg and attached directly to the corner attachments of the case, the idea is that you can go hands-free and not worry that it will easily break and drop your iPhone.
The Catalyst crossbody strap features an adjustable length, allowing a customized fit and attachment as a neck lanyard, or longer as an over the shoulder lanyard. It’s available in a variety of bright colours, including black, blue, orange, green, and red.
Total Protection Cases
The Total Protection Cases are available for iPhone 15 Pro /15 Pro Max, selling for $135 once available in mid-January. Complementing these is the new Floating Wrist Lanyard, which will sell for $45.
