Panasonic TV is returning to the Canadian market with a 2026 television lineup led by the Z85C OLED and W90C QD-Mini LED series. As previously reported, the brand is being brought back to Canada by authorized business partner SKYWORTH USA.
The two-series portfolio gives Canadian consumers a choice between the precise blacks and cinematic contrast of OLED and the high brightness and advanced local dimming of QD-Mini LED. Available in 55 and 65-inch screen sizes, both series combine Panasonic’s picture-processing expertise with features for movies, sports, streaming and gaming.
Together, the Z85C and W90C are intended to deliver premium picture quality, straightforward smart-TV operation and flexible performance for a range of home viewing environments.

The 2026 Canadian portfolio is designed to make choosing a premium television more straightforward. The Z85C is aimed at home-cinema viewers who value OLED’s precise blacks, rich contrast and accurate presentation. The W90C combines QD-Mini LED brightness, colour and local-dimming control with Glare Free Max technology to help reduce reflections in brighter rooms.
Across the lineup, the emphasis is on cinematic picture quality, simple content discovery and performance suited to modern home entertainment. Platform assignments and final model-level features remain subject to confirmation.
The Z85C Google TV expands Panasonic TV’s OLED offering for Canadian consumers. Its self-lit OLED panel is designed to produce deep blacks and strong contrast, while the AI 4K Color Engine Ultra analyzes content to restore colour, optimize motion and improve contrast. The television supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG for broad compatibility with HDR movies and streaming content. Dolby Atmos and Surround Sound Pro provide a more spacious audio presentation.
For gaming and fast-moving sports, the Z85C includes Game Mode Extreme, refresh rates up to 120Hz, HDMI 2.1 connectivity, variable refresh rate, low-latency operation and AMD FreeSync Premium. These features are intended to reduce tearing and stutter while maintaining responsive controls. The Z85C will be available in 55 and 65-inch screen sizes.
The W90C Google TV brings 4K QD-Mini LED technology to Canadian living rooms. Its Mini-LED backlight and advanced local dimming are designed to deliver deeper blacks, brighter highlights and more dimensional contrast than conventional edge-lit displays, while quantum-dot colour supports vivid, natural-looking images.
Glare Free Max technology helps reduce reflections and preserve picture clarity and contrast in rooms with ambient light. The W90C is positioned as a versatile premium option for movies, sports, streaming and gaming.
For gaming, the W90C supports 120Hz OverClock, HDMI 2.1, variable refresh rate and Auto Low Latency Mode. Viewing-comfort features include Flicker Free, Low Blue Light and True Color Aid. Dolby Atmos, Surround Sound and Clear Audio+ support movies, sports and games. The W90C will also be available in 55 and 65-inch screen sizes.
