The ShiftCam PLANCK is an ultra-tiny portable SSD that’s designed specifically for content creators. It’s one of several new products the brand is showing at CES 2025 this week in Las Vegas, including the SnapStudio Light, which completes the SnapSeries ecosystem.
The ShiftCam PLANCK weighs just 10 grams and is smaller than a credit card, and achieves read and write speeds of up to 1050 MB/s. This means it can transfer 200GB in just three minutes.

Ideal for 4K/120 ProRes recording from devices like the iPhone 15 Pro, it ensures that creators can capture, store, and transfer content seamlessly. It’s drop-proof, IP65 water-resistant, and has USB-C for connectivity.
PLANCK will come in 1TB and 2TB models and will launch on Kickstarter at the start of February for US$125 for the 1TB version and US$199 for the 2TB. It will then be widely available to consumers online in the Spring 2025 for US$189/1TB and US$299/2TB.

Also making its debut at CES 2025 is the SnapStudio Light, which will complete the SnapSeries ecosystem. This is a suite of modular, customizable tools that transform a space into a professional-grade studio.
It delivers studio-quality illumination in a design that’s 38% smaller than traditional ring lights. It has control buttons to adjust temperature and brightness, delivers up to 600 lumens of adjustable light output, and MagSafe compatibility.
The PLANCK integrates seamlessly with the rest of the SnapSeries components. This includes eight interchangeable pieces for building a portable studio tailored to individual needs, including everything from lighting to storage.
