CES 2025: Ultrahuman Rare Is a Luxury Smart Ring

So, it used to all about wearable smartwatches and fitness trackers. It still is. But now, smart rings are becoming more and more popular to augment the experience. Most people aren’t ready yet to ditch their wristworn fitness wearables. But smart rings can add another level of insight and data worth considering. One of the latest models to launch at CES 2025 is the Ultrahuman Rare, which the company dubs a “luxury smart ring.”

Ultrahuman Rare Desert Rose

Available in Desert Rose, Dune, and Desert Snow finishes, the Desert Rose and Dune models are crafted from 18K gold that’s sourced from London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) approved refineries and hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), they are designed to be both elegant in look and functional on your finger. The Desert Snow version, meanwhile, is made from 95% pt950 platinum metal. Not surprisingly, they are set the launch first in Paris and London.

Ultrahuman Rare Desert Rose

The Desert Rose version features an intricate rose-like formation of crystal clusters of gypsum or baryte, which include sand grains. The rosette crystal habit tends to occur when the crystals form in arid sandy conditions, such as the evaporation of a shallow salt basin. The crystals form a circular array of flat plates, giving the rock a shape similar to a rose blossom. The outer shell is crafted with specific brushing techniques to create a unique texture that reflects light, changing its appearance as you move.

Ultrahuman Rare Dune

Dune is designed to “capture the essence of the ever-shifting sands of the desert.” Its design showcases finely crafted grooves that flow gracefully around the band. The brushed finish enhances its tactile appeal, offering a smooth yet textured feel.

Ultrahuman Rare Desert Snow

As an ode to blankets of snow in the desert landscape, the Desert Snow model features a sleek, frosted finish that resembles snowflakes. Subtle, shimmering elements catch the light, mimicking the sparkle of snow under the sun.

Of course, it’s not just about how they look. How do they work and what do they do? They have advanced health technology sensors, including photoplethysmography and six-axis motion sensors. These monitor key health indicators like sleep, movement, heart rate (HR), heart rate variability (HRV), stress, and skin temperature.
