The Circular Ring 2 smart ring, which was first announced at CES 2025 earlier this year, is now officially available for pre-order. The smart ring sets itself apart with FDA-cleared AFib detection and advanced health features, including enhanced ECG capabilities.
During the pre-order campaign, Circular is offering savings of up to US$310 off the device, which is scheduled to ship in early June 2025. Priced at US$549, it will sell on pre-order for US$239 for early birders.
Circular has also announced some new features for the smart ring. This includes new digital ring sizing technology, a wireless charging case option, and women’s health features.
Rather than wait for a ring sizing kit to be sent to confirm your size then order the proper one, Circular is offering a digital ring sizing option you can do right from your phone. This ensures a custom-tailored fit without having to wait for shipping and return of the physical sizing kit.
With the optional wireless charging case, you can both store and charge the ring on the go, a huge advantage for the device. Effectively, you can carry the case around like you would a charging case for wireless earbuds and pop the ring in when it needs a battery boost.
Feature-wise, the ring comes with women’s health and cycle tracking with personal insights for female wellness. This includes a dedicated women’s health suite with advanced cycle tracking, temperature monitoring, and insights into fertility, menopause, and overall well-being.
The real stand-out feature, however, is the real-time Afib detection, which has been cleared by the FDA (no word yet on Health Canada clearance). The enhanced ECG capabilities are combined with sleep-stage analysis and and Kira AI-driven insights, which were provided in previous generation models as well, like the Circular Ring Slim I reviewed last year.
You’ll continue to be able to enjoy features like daily activity tracking, blood oxygen levels, energy levels, calories burned, heart rate and respiration rate, recording sleep quality and disturbances, heart rate variability, REM cycles, and sleep and wake times.
The Circular Ring 2 is available for pre-order via Kickstarter from March 5, 2025. Early backers can receive discounts of up to US$310. The Circular Ring 2 is expected to ship in June 2025 following the closing of the campaign.
