Creative Technology is expanding its Pebble series of small desktop speakers with the new Creative Pebble X and Creative Pebble X Plus.
The tuned speakers boast RMS power of up 30W and a peak power of up to 60W. Both the 2.0 and 2.1 speakers also include customizable RGB lighting so you can create a lightshow to match your mood or the music. They offer both wired and wireless mode for use both on your desk as well as on the go.
The Creative Pebble X series features custom-tuned 2.75″ full-range drivers and employ a 45° elevated design, angled not only for style but also to provide an optimized listening experience.
The step-up Creative Pebble X Plus sports a subwoofer with dual passive radiators. With added features like Dialog+ and BassFlex, these latest speakers can deliver powerful bass and clear spoken dialogue, says Creative.
Despite their small footprint, these speakers can offer acoustic power output reaching up to 15W RMS and a peak of 30W when plugged into a PC port. When connected to a 30W (or higher) PD adaptor, they can deliver a peak power of up to 60W.
The customizable RGB lighting offers 16.8 million hues and six built-in presets. Connectivity is simple with USB audio playback, Bluetooth 5.3, and a universal 3.5 mm AUX input port. In addition, the dual ports for headphones and microphones afford private listening.
Download the Creative app on Windows to access Sound Blaster Acoustic Engine audio technologies, including Surround, Smart Volume, Bass, Crystallizer, and EQ. You can also use the app to personalize the RGB lighting and other features using the Creative app’s modules, available on Windows, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store.
The Creative Pebble X is priced at US$90 while the Creative Pebble X Plus is US$130. Both are available for pre-order at Creative.com.
