D&H Canada Adds Microsoft Office to its Portfolio

D&H Canada, a provider of SMB, mid-market, and consumer technologies, has confirmed that it is now authorized to offer the Microsoft Surface for Business as part of its business portfolio of devices for channel partners.

D&H Canada will provide the Microsoft Surface for Business portfolio of devices including Laptop 4, Laptop Studio, Laptop Go 2, Pro 8, Pro 7+, Pro X, Go 3, Duo 2, Studio 2, and Hub 2S. Along with Microsoft 365, these computers and peripherals will play a major part in D&H’s  new Modern Solutions initiative. The D&H Modern Solutions strategy aims to help channel partners “better deliver end-to-end, cloud-based software, hardware, and services to a range of end-users,” says the company.

D&H adds that this partnership is crucial to the continued focus on work-from-home and business continuity, helping to support the evolving needs of the new hybrid workplace. They represent a new offering for channel partners in target markets like education and healthcare as well.

D&H will be able to offer Microsoft Surface for Business along with Microsoft 365 as part of a customized bundle, delivered through a monthly subscription, and using the XaaS model to accommodate the latest methods by which companies are demanding to consume technology. This also allows companies to assign IT expenses to their operational budgets (as opposed to the capital budget), providing a more economical way to maintain an updated computing environment, the company explains.

Content around Microsoft Surface for Business will be folded into D&H Canada’s Success Path to Cloud program, which provides resources, training, and support to help partners create a successful managed services practice incorporating cloud solutions. D&H’s experts will bundle White Glove and deployment services along with sales of the Microsoft Surface for Business devices, to support solution providers as they deliver this technology on-site at school, medical, or other facility campuses.

“The high-performance Microsoft Surface for Business devices are a thrilling addition to our expanding linecard, creating a comprehensive offering for MSP partners looking to outfit the changing workplace,” says D&H Canada’s General Manager Michelle Biase. “These top-flight computing devices will play a significant role in the implementation of our Modern Solutions strategy, to support our partners as their business increases.”

“Over the years, D&H Canada has shown impressive growth of both its offerings and its ability to bolster the success of VARs and MSPs,” adds Andre Valiquette, Director Surface PDM at Microsoft Canada. “As workplace and learning environments continue to be reinvented, D&H has demonstrated a great commitment to delivering powerful, flexible solutions and services that address these fluctuating conditions. Microsoft is glad to expand its relationship with D&H to include the Microsoft Surface for Business portfolio, that delivers experiences employees love with the choice and flexibility they need to work on their terms.”
