Erikson Multimedia, a division of Exertis / JAM has announced two new portable speakers from Swedish audio brand, Marshall. The all-new compact Willen and the second generation of the popular Emberton now called Emberton II. Both speakers will be ship starting October 2022.
The Willen features a 2’’ full range driver and two passive radiators. The speaker comes with a top-of-class IP67 dust- and water-resistance rating and 15+ hours of portable playtime on a single charge.
The Marshall “Stack Mode” allows multiple Willen speakers to be combined for a grander sound stage. A built-in microphone is designed to answer and reject calls using the front-mounted control knob for hands-free chat. The speaker’s rugged build is 100% PVC-free and 60% of the plastic is post-consumer recycled from used electronics. The Willen has an MSRP of $179.00
The Emberton II refines the original best-selling Emberton and features two 2’’ full range drivers and two passive radiators and provides 30+ hours of portable playtime on a single charge. The Emberton II battery technology allows the speaker to return to full battery in three hours and a quick-charge feature will delivering a playtime of 4 hours on only 20 minutes of charging time.
Like the Willen, the Emberton II also features a IP67 dust and water-resistance rating and also includes Stack mode for an unlimited number of pairings with other Emberton II speakers.
This speaker’s sturdy build comprises 50% post-consumer recycled plastic from used electronics, water bottles and automotive light covers, and is also 100% PVC-free. The Emberton II has an MSRP of $249.99.
