Get your hoverboard, self-lacing shoes, and red vest, and prepare to travel into the world of pop culture with Fan Expo Canada, which is set to return to Toronto this summer, taking place August 21-24, 2025 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The big news this year is that Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown from Back to the Future, will be in attendance.
The pair will be on hand to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic movie. A special event will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025 with tickets ranging from $70-$150 for entrance. There’s also free admission for general seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Grab packages available for photos, selfies, and autographs as well, or purchase those separately but be warned: they aren’t cheap!
What is Fan Expo Canada?
Fan Expo Canada is a show for passionate fans of comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming. The show has, over the years, welcomed stars from hit shows like The Walking Dead, Star Trek, The Vampire Diaries, Stranger Things, Doctor Who, and more. Fans have the chance for meet and greets, photos ops, and get autographs, all for a fee, of course. There are also panels, workshops, events, shopping, and plenty of attendees who come in full cosplay.

Founded by Aman Gupta and acquired by Informa Exhibitions in 2013, Fan Expo Canada celebrates everything to do with popular arts, and the public’s passion for television, gaming, movies, comics, and more.
