Google Cloud has announced the appointment of Farsad Nasseri as the new Country Managing Director for Google Cloud Canada.
Nasseri brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the Canadian market to this role, having previously led enterprise sales for Google Cloud in Canada. Prior to Google, Nasseri worked at a number of startups, including NexJ Systems and Camilion Solutions, focusing on market development and technical sales in emerging verticals across North America.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s efforts in helping Canadian businesses of all sizes, from startups to large enterprises and public sector organizations, use cloud and AI technologies to drive transformation and innovation.
Sam Sebastian, outgoing country manager, will be taking on a broader mandate across North America for the Cloud business. In this new role, he will work alongside the U.S. and Canada regional team leaders to continue building on momentum. Sebastian will relocate to New York City to be closer to customers and teams in the U.S. but will continue collaborating closely with Nasseri and the Canadian teams.
