CES 2025: The 22 Coolest Products From The Show Floor

Every year at CES, attendees get to see all types of gadgets and gizmos. From new big-screen TVs to laptops, smart home technology, headphones and earbuds, and other unique offerings, there’s so much to see and little time to see it. That’s why we spend the entire week walking the show floor and attending various media events in Las Vegas both before and after the official show dates to discover the best there is at the show. After digesting everything we saw at CES 2025, here are our picks (in no particular order) of the 22 coolest products from the annual event.

1. Hisense 116-inch TriChroma LED TV

The massive 116-inch Hisense TriChroma LED TV uses RGB Local Dimming Technology, resulting in top-notch colour precision, vibrancy, and efficiency. Rather than use white or black backlights filtered through a quantum dot filter, the TV uses independent red, green, and blue LEDs to generate pure colours. According to Hisense, this results in richer reds, deeper greens, more vibrant blues, and 97% of the BT.2020 colour space, the widest colour gamut achieved in a MiniLED display. The tens of thousands of RGB Local Dimming optical lenses operate as independently controlled clusters, allowing for multi-level dimming at both the RGB chip and cluster level. Since only the LEDs necessary for the displayed content illuminate, power consumption is also reduced as is blue light emissions.

Complemented by a 6.2.2 multi-channel CineStage X surround sound system with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual X, the panel is also ultra-low glare with low reflection and an ultra-wide viewing angle. With HDMI eARC, Wi-Fi 6E, compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit, the 40mm thin TV is a stunner for the living room.

2. Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series Graphics Cards

Nvidia

The talk of the show as attendees waited anxiously for the big reveal, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards didn’t disappoint. Most exciting for gamers and creators, the cards boast 92 billion transistors, 32GB GDDR7 VRAM, and 3,352 trillion AI operations per second (TOPs). This means they can handle native 4K, even 8K, gaming without breaking a sweat. Powered by the Blackwell architecture, a demo showing what images and footage would look like using this graphics card had attendees of the jam-packed keynote (and those who livestreamed from home) in awe. Affording up to two times better performance than its predecessor, laptops with this graphics card will start coming to market in March 2025 and will be top of the list for gamers.

3. EcoFlow Rapid 10,000mAh Power Bank: Recharge Laptops, Too

EcoFlow Rapid

Qi2 and MagSafe chargers were in abundance at the show. This tiny little Qi2 charger can recharge a device wirelessly at 15W as well as a secondary device via cable connection at an impressive up to 65W, which is almost unheard of for lightweight, portable charging banks like this one. That means you can use it to recharge even your laptop on the go as well. While it’s a bit bulkier than other models that don’t charge at such a high capacity, the width is a necessity to accommodate the massive power. Plus, it’s still lighter in weight than expected. And it uses EcoFlow’s high-density battery cell technology, RAPID magnetic charging, and double cooling protection to dissipate heat.

Ecoflow Rapid 10,000 charger

There’s a smart digital display on the unit that shows charging status and a built-in kickstand so you can prop your phone up to watch movies, for example, while it’s recharging. This new version of the charger, which will be out in February or March, works with a mobile app where you can adjust settings, like overheat protection, a nice touch as well.

4. Garmin Instinct 3 Smartwatch

There are so many smartwatches from which to choose, but if you aren’t tied to ones that match your phone brand (think Apple Watch or Google Pixel Watch), Garmin might be top of the list. Not only do these smartwatches work equally well with both iOS and Android, Garmin smartwatches have plenty of premium features, too. There are models for those who love to work out at the gym and those who partake in specific activities, from running to swimming, hiking to even golf.

Garmin Instinct 3

The Instinct 3 range is neat in that you get a gorgeous AMOLED display, or you can opt for a version that supports solar charging for virtually infinite battery life. Setting them apart is a neat built-in flashlight you can use while hiking in the dark or even rummaging for something in your purse or backpack. Employing a rugged build, meeting MIL-STD standards for thermal and shock resistance, they also meet a 10ATM water resistance rating, making this watch great for adventurers and athletes. Even the AMOLED screen version lasts for up to 24 days in watch mode.

5. Rolling Square TAU 2 Emergency Keyring Power Bank

When you think of power banks for use on the go, you want the most power in the smallest, most lightweight package. You want something without cables, perhaps MagSafe for magnetic attachment to a compatible iPhone or Android with a MagSafe case. But sometimes, all you need is a quick boost of power to be able to call that Uber, navigate to your destination, or last until you get home. That’s where a device like the TAU 2 emergency keyring power bank comes in, offering several benefits in one. Attach your key to it and when you need a quick emergency boost, you can pull out the USB-C, Lightning, or microUSB cables to juice up your phone. It has just a 2,000mAh capacity, but that’s enough to recharge a phone from up to 28 to 54%, depending on the phone’s battery size.

Rolling Square Tau 2

The best part is that it comes with a charging dock you can set up at your front door. Dock the key there when you get home and it will constantly remain powered. Plus, you’ll never have to wonder where you left your keys. It has an NFC tag for digital ID and lost mode, offers pass-through charging, and the keyring hook is a quick release design. The Tau 2 isn’t new, having launched a few years ago. But it’s such a simple yet clever and useful device that you might not have seen yet.

6. Renpho Extend 2 Massage Gun

Renpho, distributed in Canada by Erikson Consumer, already has a massage gun with an extendable arm called the Reach 2, but the Renpho Extend 2 employs an even cooler design. Twist to unlock them pull it out and rotate the massage head and you can now reach behind your back to get those usually tough-to-reach spots.

Renpho massage gun

Put it back in place and use it as a normal gun on other body parts as well. It has adjustable intensities and is easy to use. I tried it out on the show floor, a welcome bit of relief after carrying a heavy backpack all day!

7. Samsung The Frame Pro

The highlight of the new TV line for Samsung is The Frame Pro. The Frame has been a tremendously popular model in Samsung’s line for some time, and this is the first time it’s getting a significant upgrade. Now a Neo QLED TV, it offers improvements in picture quality with more vivid colours, sharper contrast, and better local dimming for deep blacks. Powered by the NQ4 Gen3 AI processor, another major upgrade is that it works with the Samsung Wireless One Connect box for a cleaner installation, and freedom to place it just about anywhere.

Samsung The Frame Pro

While Samsung is now expanding the Art Store to other TVs in its line as well, you still get the elegant bezel and stunning overall look of The Frame if you decide to stick with that model. Plus, all the latest Samsung Vision AI goodies make it even more enticing.

8. Kanto Audio UKI Compact Bookshelf Speaker

Shown at a pre-show media event and exhibiting to partners in a private suite, the Kanto Audio UKI, available in Canada through Gemsen, is a budget-friendly compact bookshelf speaker that will sell for US$199 per pair. Packing big sound in a small footprint, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, and RCA. This makes it equally great for the home office connected to your computer as it is in a dedicated listening room, connected to a modern turntable.

A neat addition is the inclusion of a headphone jack for private listening in a bedroom or shared workspace. The Kanto Audio UKI will come in black, white, cobalt, and sage at launch.

9. Technics EAH-AZ100 True Wireless Earbuds

Technics EAH-AZ100s

I had the chance to see and demo these earbuds in Kyoto, Japan last month and have been using them since. I published my review of the AZ100s just in time for the official launch at CES 2025. The verdict is as you’d expect from this audio-centric brand: they look and sound fantastic. The defining features include the proprietary magnetic fluid driver, AI noise reduction chip for enhanced audio when on calls, adaptive noise cancelling, spatial audio, multipoint connectivity for up to three devices (yes, three!) at once with seamless switching among them, and the concha-fit and shape with an additional eartip size to ensure the best fit possible in all ear sizes.

Technics AZ100

With long battery life, Auracast support, and the intuitive Technics Audio Connect app, these $400 earbuds are a perfect celebration of the brand’s 60th anniversary this year.

10. OnePlus 13 Smartphone

OnePlus 13 in snow

Another device I had the pleasure of testing and learning about ahead of the show, the OnePlus 13 is an Android phone user’s dream. As noted in my review of the phone, it boasts an IP68 and IP69 rating, which means it can not only handle submersion in water but also powerful water jets and even more extreme water temperatures. This means, as we witnessed in the many demos, you can toss it in the washing machine or dishwasher and it will come out unscathed.

OnePlus 13 back cameras

Beyond that, it has tons of cool AI features, including for post-editing of photos taken with the fantastic cameras. A sleek phone with a snappy and intuitive interface, it’s just about the best Android phone you can buy right now.

11. TCL Nxtpaper 11 Plus Tablet

TCL Nxtpaper Plus 11 tablet

TCL showed a variety of new Nxtpaper devices in its booth, including the Nxtpaper 11 Plus tablet, which is powered by the new Nxtpaper 4.0 display. The technology is easier on the eyes, reducing glare without sacrificing quality, clarity, or colour. The tablet also has AI goodies, including Smart Eye Comfort Mode, Personalized Eye Comfort Mode, and an upgraded Nxtpaper Key. The latter allows for shortcuts with customizable gestures including single, double, and long presses. As TCL’s first AI-powered tablet, you get features like Circle to Search, Text Assist, Writing Assist, Smart Voice Memos, Smart Translator, and more. It’s equipped with an 11.5-inch 2.2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and works with an optional T-Pen.

12. Circular Ring 2 Smart Ring

I had high hopes for this company after reviewing the Circular Ring Slim, which admittedly needs some work. After seeing the Circular Ring 2, I’m confident that it will rectify many of the issues I had. Plus, it adds some neat and useful additional features, too. Most notably, it can take ECG readings, something you don’t typically see in a smart ring, and has enhanced sensors. It can run for up to eight days per charge, including when tracking detailed sleep stages. It also comes with a new charging dock versus the tiny USB-C charger the previous-gen model uses. For sizing, there’s a new digital ring sizing option so you can virtually submit data to determine your proper size.

Circular Ring 2

Available in gold, silver, black, and rose gold, it’s made of titanium and works with a redesigned version of the app. This still includes the Kira AI assistant that provides helpful insights as you go about your days. I truly believe this brand has the potential to be among the best in the smart ring business. The best part? There’s no subscription requirement.

13. Roborock Saros Z70 Robot Vacuum

Roborock Saros S70

There has been plenty of innovation in the robot vacuums category of late. From object detection to smart navigation, scheduling, integrated wet mopping, and more, the category continues to explore new and exciting ways to make cleaning your floors easier and more effective. The Roborock Saros Z70 has a neat addition to the standard robot vacuum design in the form of a five-axis mechanical arm that can extend from the top to pick up lightweight objects from the floor and put them in a specific location. Think cables, small toys, or socks. There are dual cameras on the arm and front of the vacuum that work together with the LED light to ensure it accurately spots and picks up items. Built-in AI can recognize up to 108 objects while you can define and label up to 50 more. Want to have some fun? Control the mechanical arm manually or remotely using the Roborock app.

14. Belkin Stage PowerGrip

Belkin PowerGrip

Content creation has become a full-time job for some, a pastime for others. There were plenty of content creator gadgets on the show floor, including the Belkin Stage PowerGrip, which combines a high-capacity power bank with an ergonomic phone grip. Designed for creators, travelers, and multitaskers, the PowerGrip features a 10,000 mAh battery capacity, 7.5W magnetic wireless charging, USB-C output ports, a retractable USB-C charging cable, and LED screen to show battery percentage. There’s also a small loop for connecting a camera strap and it can function as a phone stand as well. It will be offered in Powder Blue, Sand, and Pepper.

15. Kirin Electric Salt Spoon

The most bizarre product I saw at the show was the Kirin Electric Salt Spoon, an electric spoon designed to enhance the salty and umami taste of low-sodium foods. How does it achieve this? Through technology delivering a weak electric current to your tongue that purports to enhance the salty taste of food by 1.5 to two times. The purpose is to allow you to enjoy the food you love, like curry, ramen, and miso soup, without all the unhealthy sodium intake that usually comes with these dishes. There are four levels of salt taste intensity and it’s ideal for foods like curry, fried rice, ramen noodles, soups, and more. Note that it should only be used by adults and it’s not for those with a pacemaker or other medical electrical device. I gave it a go and while I didn’t immediately notice a difference, after a few tries and positioning the spoon a certain way to touch my tongue and ensuring my finger was on the sensor, there was a slight increase in saltiness. The result will be different for each user. But if you find yourself in need of a low sodium diet for specific health reasons or preference, perhaps there’s something to this quirky kitchen utensil.

16. Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) Laptops

Asus has a diverse new line of ROG laptops, with several models that will appeal to serious PC gamers. There’s the 2025 Zephyrus G14/G16 ultrathin gaming laptops and the 2025 Flow Z13, a versatile 2-in-1 gaming tablet powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with Radeon 8060S Graphics, showcasing a stunning Nebula display. The ROG XG Mobile, a high-performance external GPU, adds extra graphics power for compatible laptops, allowing gamers and creators to achieve desktop-level performance for even the most demanding applications. For desktop gaming, there’s the G700 series of high-performance towers featuring advanced cooling solutions and driven by Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU.

Asus ROG laptops

The 2025 ROG Strix SCAR 16/18 is the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX, featuring up to 24 cores and 32 threads capable of reaching impressive TDP levels of 65W for powerhouse gaming performance. Paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU delivering up to 175W TGP and equipped with a MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, these laptops are engineered to handle the most demanding AAA titles, high-performance applications, and intensive multitasking with ease. There’s also the ROG Strix G16/G18 powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX (G615/815) in Canada; the AMD-powered Strix G614/814; ROG Zephyrus G14/G16 (Zephyrus G16 will be available with the latest Intel processors in Canada while the Zephyrus G14 is also a Copilot+ PC); and the ROG Flow Z13 2-in-1 gaming tablet.

17. Eureka J15 Max Ultra Robot Vacuum

Eureka J15 Max Ultra

A second robot vacuum on the list, the Eureka J15 Max Ultra has transparent liquid stain detection through IntelliView AI 2.0 that can detect wet messes and clean accordingly. But the real game-changer is the FlexiRazor technology that can cut through tangles of hair. The hair is cut into pieces that are then sucked up into the dustbin so you don’t have to worry about unraveling it from the roller brush. With an extendable side brush for mopping and getting into tight corners, enhanced obstacle crossing capabilities, and the ability to glide over thresholds, these convenience and usability features make a big difference. The robot vacuum can detect pet messes as well, and you can even remotely interact with your pets using the built-in camera.

18. Victrola Wave Bluetooth Turntable

Victrola Wave

Combining the analog world of vinyl with modern-day Bluetooth technology, the Victrola Wave turntable (available in Canada through Erikson Consumer) builds on the company’s long history in the audio business: the company has been around since 1906! It features Bluetooth 5.4, aptX Adaptive and aptX HD, Auracast broadcast audio, wired connectivity, and comes in bold colours. For someone looking to blend vintage tech with the latest features, like streaming, this turntable is the perfect compromise.

19. Withings Omnia Health Screening Mirror

It’s just a concept product, but the Withings Omnia health screen mirror provides a glimpse into the future of home health. Step aboard and get an interactive, 360° view of your vitals. You’ll also get actionable insights and personalized recommendations. It uses AI to aggregate, analyze, and interpret key indicators like heart health, nutrition trends, body composition, lung function, activity tracking, and sleep quality. The connected base has advanced health sensors built into it to provide much more data than just your weight and body composition.

Withings Omnia

Get a full day at-a-glance of your data with details about your heart health, overnight heart rate, irregular rhythm notifications, resting heart rate, vascular age, and blood pressure), lungs, sleep (apnea detection in Europe, interruptions, sleep stages, and recovery), weight (metabolic body composition, including muscle-to-fat ratio, water mass, bone mass, visceral fat, and weight trends), activity (steps, calories burned, VO2 max, elevations, workout, recovery heart rate, and body temperature variations), and nutrition (pH, ketone trends, specific gravity, and vitamin C analysis). I had the chance to try it out at the show, and while the data provided was just demo data versus my personal stats, it gives you a good idea of how this works.

20. Scosche PreEvnt isaac Blood Glucose Monitoring Device

PreEvnt Isaac

I love tech devices that focus on helping solve health issues, simplify tracking, and provide preventative assistance. PreEvnt is a new subsidiary of Scosche focused on health tech and isaac is a non-invasive alert device and app for monitoring blood glucose. It uses your breath to monitor blood glucose levels, reducing the need for frequent finger pricks. It’s suitable for those with Type-1 and Type-2 diabetes, as well as pre-diabetics or anyone who wants to monitor their blood glucose levels. isaac uses VOC detection, specifically acetone, from exhaled breath to determine and alert you of elevated blood glucose levels. Instead of pricking a finger, simply breath into the device. This method is similar to service dogs who are trained to sniff and sort through approximately 2,000 VOCs to determine a high blood glucose event in their owner. The isaac device is easily worn to places where a dog, or finger prick/blood testing kit, could otherwise be inconvenient. Small enough to be worn on the included lanyard or pocket clip, it provides real-time readings of blood glucose levels. The backstory of this gizmo is heartwarming: the grandson of the inventor Bud Wilcox, of course named Isaac, was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes when he was just two years old. Looking for a better way for his grandson to be alerted of blood sugar events, he came up with the concept for this product. It works with an iOS or Android app, is rechargeable, and comes with a USB-C charging cable and cradle. One charge lasts for a full day of breath tests. It’s undergoing FDA review in the U.S. and there’s no word on Health Canada clearance yet. But it’s encouraging for those with diabetes.

21. Human in Motion Robotics (HMR) XoMotion Exoskeleton

XoMotion

Another health tech product, this one hails from a Canadian company. Human in Motion Robotics Inc. (HMR), based in Vancouver, developed the XoMotion advanced medical exoskeleton that is designed to emulate natural human movement. The idea is for it to be used by people with mobility impairments, offering self-balancing movement to aid in rehabilitation. It assists with lifting, mobilization, and training patients throughout their personal care journey. Suitable for spinal cord injuries, stroke patients, and those with neurological impairments, it provides natural upper body function and complex walking motions. We’ll file this one under the “technology that can really make a difference” category.

22. Canvas All-in-One Hi-Fi System

Canvas HiFi

Dubbed a one-box solution for both video and audio, Canvas all-in-one hifi system eliminates the need for standalone speakers, even a soundbar, by building the audio right into the base of the display. The Canvas HiFi system consists of a wall mount for the TV combined with a speaker system that’s attached to the bottom of it. Thanks to Room Corection and BACCH 3D crosstalk cancellation, the brand promises that you get HiFi performance that would otherwise require separately placed speakers. BACCH 3D Sound is a technology invented by BACCH Labs and licensed from Princeton University, affording 3D sound through just two speakers placed close together. Height and depth are purportedly created using tonal and spatial fidelity. It comes with a four-channel Hi-Fi amplifier with 250W combined output and quad-core DSP crossover. It easily connects to Wi-Fi on both Android and iOS devices, features a wireless module to permit streaming from Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, and has Roon, Tidal, and Spotify integration. With the Toslink digital optical input, you can connect a Sonos Connect box or other device. It also has HDMI eARC for integrating easily with your new TV. There are 13 finishes from which to choose to complete the look at the front of your TV, blending with just about any interior. It’s compatible with virtually any TV 55 inches in size up to 85 inches and the magnetic covers are interchangeable. It weighs 77 lbs. without packaging.
